@@templebuilderscarpentry7043 Need to feed the cable through 3 pieces of stud and then you need to bend the cable round the corner. Makes it very difficult to get the cable through. Thanks.

Or just make an “L” with two studs for the outside corner lol makes for more backing for drywall and you can insulate behide it after

I'm covering different methods of building a corner. California corner is what you're talking about. Thanks for commenting.

If I've learned anything since subscribing to your channel, I now know that the best of everything about construction came from California! You must've been born there, TBC!! 😅 Thank you!!

This corner is not a cali corner its a 4 stud corner or 3 stud and a block corner . I seen the guy in comment section call it a Cali corner but he is mistaken. And yeah it seems as if they name everything after California in construction. Thanks for commenting SandiRose.

@@templebuilderscarpentry7043 In reference to your first reply to me...Yes, I was commenting about the guy calling it a Cali Corner, but, more importantly, I was complimenting you. Please let me know if you ever get tired of that. And, in reference to your second reply...(I'm about to compliment you again, so get ready.) There are those who make videos to show everyone how things are done, and there are those of you who teach! I had no doubt that you would be making more videos about how outside corners are built! Thank you, TBC!

Ha--I was just wondering why you wouldn't use 2 studs in the corner instead of 3--then you showed that using 3 studs allows a place to the drywall to be attached from both directions. Thanks!

Really all you have to do is flipped a 2x2 up to the 1" and 1/2 and nail it to a flat 2x4 called a California corner
@dduff4383 Жыл бұрын
They call that a California corner IIRC
