I will say you should strive for like 4-5 ltrs of fluids in the day. It is more liking sipping drinkins throughout the day not like drinking in large quantities once and then taking very long break. Drinking in small qty or sips at frequent intervals through the day helps much more.

Hi Dheeraj, we are 5 people thinking of going from Chandigarh to Jammu to Leh in our private Kia Sonet. And from leh we are thinking of getting a taxi for places like nubra valley, pangong etc. But my major concern is Kia Sonet getting fully packed with 5 people and luggage till leh that it might be too much for it. Its a manual diesel. We dont have a proper SUV but a another automatic sonet and a eco sport. Sorry this question is unrelated to the video but I am very confused on the commute

Kia Sonet SUV has a GC of 205 mm which should be OK to travel the entire Ladakh circuit. Yes with 5 people you will have to travel very light and it will be super uncomfrtable sitting tightly inside it. I will suggest you may take Eco Sport to split the group dost else so many days, long hours drive it becomes cramped and uncomfrtable with luggaege.

Bike is registered in my name and same is reflecting on mParivahan, digilocker and tax/invoice. Will I be allowed to go to innerline places or will be turned back by the union? Well, like I said in the video, most of the time there should not be any issue if you can show all the documents to them.. however if there is some unreasonable person on the other side, then things go that person way on that day.. otherwise in general you should be OK with it

you can courier your bike for a Leh Ladakh trip from anywhere in India using private services like Gati or Safe Express. As far as I know, Safe Express is the only movers who courier the bike to Srinagar and the rest of the movers have Jammu as the last drop point. The prices of Safe Express are also reasonable, but they do not pack your bike because they are just movers. You need to get your bike packed by other packers independently. Most of the other service providers charge a much higher amount.

Hello, we are going to Delhi on July 24th, from there if everything goes well we will reach Manali by bus on the 26th. We want to rent a motorcycle in Manali and drive to Leh on the famous highway. We would stay in Leh for several more days and want to tour the area from there, then one of us would go back to Delhi by plane from Leh, and the other would go to Zangla by motorbike, then back to Leh by motorbike and from there by plane to Delhi at the end of August. My question is, can I find a motorbike rental company in Manali who rent motorbikes under these conditions?

Manali bikes need to be parked in Leh for sightseeing further in Ladakh. The Zanskar side can be covered on Manali bikes. So, you can rent bike in Manali, travel on Manali Leh highway to reach Leh and arrange for a pick up from Leh which will cost you about Rs12000-15000 for pickup of bike. You can rent the local Leh bike then in Leh and do Ladakh sightseeing first and then your friend can use the same local Leh bike to do Zanskar sightseeing by visiting till Zangla and return. Dost, Zanskar Valley and Spiti Valley do not have any restrictions. It is Ladakh that has restrictions. I know Zanskar comes under Ladakh but other sightseeing places of Ladakh are restricted for sightseeing on an outside "rental" bike or car, that is, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake and Tso Moriri, Hanle, Umling La etc.. Outside private car or bike are all alowed for sightseeing anywhere in all these places.

Like I said now a days 80% of the time, it is all OK and no one checks but when there are issues between different unions then checking gets more.. All the best for your ride!
