We purchased a shower, caddy dispenser that dispenses your shampoo and body wash,, and we love it it’s been a couple years. It stayed on with the adhesive that they give you no screwing into the wall necessary. It’s absolutely amazing. We got it on Amazon and ours holds five different soaps. This way you can have your shampoo and your conditioner in your body wash depending on if you guys both use the same thing or if you eat you something different. One of the best things we’ve ever bought.

@OutsidebySide2 жыл бұрын
@EB316 We appreciate you watching our video! We have also had a hard time making the vinyl tiles stick due to the humidity and the texture of the RV paneling. We are considering covering the area with a smoother material such as aluminum for the adhesive back tiles to stick. We will try to make a video on this if it works! Happy camping! 🤩
@c.m.303 Жыл бұрын
Some people use a ceiling tin as well as a sheet of stainless steel...or maybe aluminum?? Anyway, heat proof and easy to clean and easier to put up and stay up. Or you could use construction adhesive and glue the tiles to a luan board or similar, (that would allow changes and updates over time), and then fix the luan board to the wall.

Great video Just found your channel! Maxx air vent covers in my opinion are a must have! a maxxair fan is a great way to move air! I installed one in our front vent and its moves so much air my wife gest cold when I open a back window( you actually feel a good breeze). I used to use the LED puck lights for lighting dark spaces that had no or little light coverage. I got tired of replacing batteries. I installed 12 volt puck lights. Its actually not hard to do as long as you have a 12 volt wire running close by. Maybe I should have stated this before, my wife and I are heavy rv mod kinda people. Oh yes good year tires ! another must have. well happy camping.

@@OutsidebySide thank you for the link. Also I just saw a interesting mod yall may want to try. I saw on another channel they used a 4” pvc pipe cut to length to cover their awning from sun damage when parked or traveling. No disassembling the awning or anything complicated… I liked the idea.

How do you attach your Rhino portable sewer tank to your rear bumper? Like you I have no attached rear ladder to hang it on to secure it (what that big hook underneath the unit is for) I have the 36G model Thanks. Also added 2 more RV windows and an outside shower unit like you did, just have to take careful measurements before making those saw cuts and holes in the TT. Also easy to add privacy curtains. storage shelves, and towel bars for each sleep area (front queen & bunks). Plus the Hott Rod electric heating option for the hot water tank since my TT has LP water heating only (simple 15 mins. installation). Why use your own LP since the electric is already paid for. Safe & Happy travels!!!

@@OutsidebySide Thanks ObS for the link, just sub'd. My TT is the 2017 Keystone 175 LHS, it's obvious where the 2 windows were needed (upper bunk & by the entry door). Our 2 kids are now a young adult and a teen so no longer tag along. When just us or myself as retired & wife still works F/T, the bunks make great extra storage plus nice to always have room for the occasional guest or 2. Also designed and made by own bunk ladder from lumber for about $15 when found out how much the metal bunk ladders cost. Overall it's an OK TT but not sure I would get another Keystone if there is a next time as put in so much effort & time for all those mods. Lucked out as only few minor issues with my TT (AM function in Jensen radio never worked, occasional on /off flashing from overhead light outside the bathroom door and the motor in the small bath vent fan finally died last year so replaced it with the large HENGS Vortex fan, relatively easy but better to do it with 2 persons (1 outside, 1 inside), it's a definite improvement for sure.

The issue with the peel and stick tile is that it doesn’t adhere well to the RV wall surface, so applying and let dry a wallpaper sizing will probably cure the problem. Apply to the wall surface and let dry completely, overnight would be best.
