I love how effortlessly the writers have shown the blooming attraction between the two leads thru text language: at first, the rich boy uses complete sentences in English, which in the texting culture of the Philippines, signifies superior education and economic class of the sender while the lowly hotel clerk uses the vernacular with shortcuts. In this last chapter, communication becomes easier as they grow closer with each other. And the rich hotel guest feels no more need to show off his superior wealth or education so he answers text in a more current, vernacular fashion. Thank you for this excellent series!

Took me ages to realize that Dale in the end wore what he said he was supposed to wear during his first meetup with James. White shirt ang Maong (jeans). Dale is also more confident and upfront now. A stark contrast to the timid bellboy we saw on previous episodes. This to me indicates that Dale is finally showing his true self to James. Charot !!

The way I interpret it, the title "Meet Me Outside" other than being Dale's username on blued, is also a metaphor for their little rendezvous. Throughout the entire series, James had only known Dale as that bellboy in the microcosm that is the resort. Their previous encounters were friendly but were nevertheless still draped with inequality dictated by their status in that microcosm. In this episode, James sees Dale beyond his bellboy uniform not to mention hairstyle, donning a look that is more familiar and having the confidence of an equal. Dale telling him that he is now on leave signifies him breaking away from that microcosm and the inequality it imposes upon them. By agreeing to go on a date with Dale, James is meeting him outside that microcosm for the first time. This series is short but beautiful. JMS never fails to amaze me with the symbolisms and metaphors, from GSP to this.

In one of live stream, Kaloy was asked if he's opened for a BL series of his own. He said he was not sure since him and his family's religious group they followed are very conservative so he have to consult his family first and the scenes should have a limitations... So imagine my shookt when he was the lead of his own BL and getting mushy with Genesis specially in this ep. But mostly props to the editors and camera directors since they did a great work with the hot scenes, it's still look steamy even tho it was mostly camera tricks 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’ve enjoyed every minute of this little masterpiece. The undeniable chemistry between both James/ Kaloy and Dale/ Genesis literally set the screen on fire. A beautiful story about completely different characters with each of them their own hardships, disappointments and fears to tell, yet through love absolutely able to communicate, connect and complement each other. Love isn’t expressed through the common language we speak but through the common language of our hearts. Our hearts recognize, see and decide who it wants to love… regardless how different we are… Blessings, love and happiness to all of those reading this. Love is magic.
