Man that was a decent haul and some fine looking eating. I like that boil method. From the midwest, we didn't have crabs, had crawdads though. Floridians boil too, but I've a neighbor friend from Maryland, steams crabs and shrimp, won't eat crawdads. Made for a good sit-down with the family, good times!

We get the same Crabs in Australia but alot of people put them in the freezer for 10 min to kill them then clean the before cooking. The way you cook with the spices, cleaning them first would add heaps of flavour into the meat when you add the spice.

Looking down at all those crabs swimming.. Reminds me of hand-lining crabs with bait on a string and netting them. I enjoyed doing that in NJ for blue crabs using mostly-eaten chicken-on-the-bone.

Love them crabs, can't wait till they are really moving. In SWLA we are still dealing with too much rainwater and not enough salinity in the area I fish to do what I am wanting to do. Great video and those crabs looked amazing. God bless and see you on the next one.

No never boil crabs. You should steam them. Same with shrimp and crawdads.
