So sorry to hear about your mother’s illness and how hard it must be for you to see her loose her ability. I subscribed after your Zone 2 video. Now that you explain how it stages off illness, I am convenced!

Hi Elena! Thanks, I appreciate it. My Mom is doing fairly well all things considered. She's fortunate that she can get good care and that my Father is still in great health. My Mother never did any real "intentional" exercise beyond what was needed for regular day-to-day activities. One thing I've noticed as I speak with others I know who are dealing with the same issues is that in almost all cases, the person with dementia did not engage in regular aerobic exercise. That shows me that regular exercise is very, very beneficial to overall cognitive health. My plan is to do some form of aerobic exercise for as long as I'm alive.
