I'm too chicken also. You don't have to open the whole store, that would be overwhelming. Perhaps start with something easy weight, size wize and not as likely to get a Not as described. Also, not every country. That's my plan when I get the courage to start O/S

running out of space is a big motivator. i worked at a big company once that said if an item sat in the racking for a year there was $300 just in PALLET hire. (sometimes the item wasn't worth that much even in profit). i'm focussing on moving bulkier stuff at the moment (not very postable) for space reasons, and when i thought about the sale price of some of it it's been at a price i still could buy back the same item if i wanted it again for whatever reason.

Some not so happy people on here today. I love the markets footage. The jerseys were a bargain, I’m sure you’ll do well there. Always good to see Jamie too, he’ll be someone to watch as he gets older. You’re advice on starting up on EBay now will probably motivate those ladies you were talking to. It would be interesting if you had your own stall, if not just to get rid of old stock like you mentioned. I hope your Black Friday sales went well, I received my box of goodies today, thank you.

How do you absorb the postage costs? Doesnt the aus post fees take a significant chunk out of your profit? Say for example these dvds sold at asking price, aus post shipping would be at least $9 of that?

Hey, I’m not an extreme professional but just thought I’d reply incase Matt doesn’t see this. When selling items like dvd bundles yes, 3 or more dvds have to be posted as a small satchel for $8-9. But if you are posting single dvds you can post them in a medium tracked envelope for just $5, or 2 dvds in a large tracked envelope for around $7. When selling dvds, make sure they are good/ valuable titles with quick sell through rates. Aim to not sell $20 dvd bundles because yes, then postage and fees would eat up around $15 of your $20 sale. I try to aim for my dvds to be $30+ in bundles, and $20+ in singles/ doubles. Hope that helped.

Good call passin on those games even with the possible profit. I'd say $50 would be fair imo on the lot, tbh this market you go to is super pricey for the most part. But yeah Jamie knows his stuff. I mean I'm a huge fan and watch all your content but can tell your not a gamer or a card / toy collector. Even when you can comp it's a huge advantage to be into the product your sourcing. It's why I ignore books and antiques. I just don't have any personal interest in em. Still I get why your going for those items. Spoiling the early in method was interesting, don't give away all the big brain secrets... 😂 Much love man!
