Always get Footrot Flats, Ettamoggah Pub and Jolliffe's Outback books if you see those around and well-priced. Some are worth $100+ each.

The odd thing with Footrot Flats are the later editions 22-27 are the ones that tend to be most sort after

i would suggest getting a black light to check shoes usually if theyre fakes you can see the marks where they tell them to cut and form the shoe in the factory you might also see stamping that wouldn't normally be on a real shoe

Aw, that sucks! I suppose at least you didn't pay a lot for them. That is my biggest fear with sneakers...picking up fakes. I'm still kind of beginner level on sneakers, so I have no idea how to spot fakes. I mean, I have an idea, just no practice in person, so no idea if I could catch it or not. Would love quick little tidbits when you can fit them in on purchases you didn't make! Like, sometimes you sound really interested in something and then pass, and I am wondering to myself why! Other than price, which is usually an obvious reason as you film.
