It this day and age of environmental concerns.. This question should be.. Is it green? Or are we a bunch of hypocrites. Why is it that society marvels at such extreme excess when it comes to mega mansions and yachts but when it comes to wanting a stylish car then all of sudden everyone becomes an environmentalist and abject it a car is too big or not aerodynamic enough. I really hope there is a huge family that live there. I really love it, but I want to be close to those I live with not have to call an hour in advance and let them know breakfast is ready. Years ago I got to tour a mega mansion that was some 55 or 60,000 square feet, if memory serves me. I went with my mother who was in the real estate business, at the time. They handed us a map as we entered so that we wouldn't get lost. I remember the hand rubbed wood paneling and coffered ceilings, stained glass windows, the marbles and the tapestries, carpets, statues and beautiful vases. It was an absolute PALACE! The servants quarters alone were far nicer than my modest 1,500 square foot house.
