Hi, I recently purchased the Parkdale 4, as I don’t have a garden I took it to the park. Great fun trying to use pump but the first try when I took the pump off the air just gushed out lol. I hadn’t realised the button needed pushing out, still all good practice. I’m an older person hence the reason to get an air tent so more manageable by myself. Looking forward to couple days camping next week and then a week away next month. It really is easy pumping the tent up , a great work out but so far am pleased.

We bought the one from last year (2020). Everything we mist then, is now in the one from this year. If we could we would buy the new one. Very happy with it, even the 2020 version.

Was ready to buy the Vango Stargrove II Air 450, is it worth spending the extra for the Parkdale 4PA? If so, when will you have stock? Thanks

Also, does this tent get really hot? We are use to tents with mesh windows all around. Thanks

Brilliant. We have a similar tent from outwell. Fantastic tent. Only slight downside is that the material is very thin. When the sun starts shining the tent heats up almost immediately. But the tent is very light. I wish outwell sold some sort of tent awning which you can attach to the front of the tent. Just to get some shade.

If you wish for a tent which doesn’t get as hot the best option is to go for a Polycotton tent as the material breathes (which Polyester doesn’t). There is a product called a ‘Vango Family Shelter’ which is a universal canopy/tarp which can be added to any tent. www.attwoolls.co.uk/vango-family-shelter-canopy

We just ordered the 6pa and are really excited. We live in the US and don't get much rough weather in upstate NY. Do we need to use all the guylines? Winds light at 5mph. Thanks

We would always recommend using the guyropes just in case the weather turns, plus that gives the tent a large portion of its structure.

I am looking for an inflatable tent. My concern is the heat and how it absorbs the heat and the condensation. I have oztent great rent but not inflatable.
@AttwoollsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
If you are looking for something that is cooler in hot weather and has practically no condensation then I would recommend looking at a Polycotton tent.

Is this the same size as the Chatham 4a? They look very similar 👀
@AttwoollsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
The Parkdale is a replacement of the Chatham, as the previous model had a few niggles which needed addressing.
@grantfuller50113 жыл бұрын
@@AttwoollsCoUk could you tell me what them niggles were? I have purchased the Chatham 4a but since it's arrived it's rained everyday and haven't pitched it yet 😭

@@grantfuller5011 updates are things like upgrading the bedrooms so that they are darker, using thicker stitching on the beams, increasing the beam diameter, providing a better pump, adding a couple of extra storm straps, a new magnetic bedroom door and a couple of other things.

Hi, You mentioned bathtub groundsheet for the front area, does it come with the tent? Thanks
@AttwoollsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you have to buy the footprint to get this feature.

Which model has zip up curtains on the pa 4, 2020 or 2021?
@AttwoollsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
All of Parkdale have only ever had toggle up curtains but they do have zip dividers in the bedroom section.
