Would love a tee shirt, after all the goofy “things” I have heard about BEACH Symptoms, finally after section from a large Chicago Hospital, then coming back home to Florida to find gynecologist oncologist, she got down to the nitty gritty, so living in such horrific pain, 4 hospital stays, finally received my biopsies - and I’ve earned a tee shirt, cards to post in our community, no it’s just not being constipated, or eat more fiber, drink more water, take a stool softener, give yourself an enema, there are about 7 more non licensed “friends and family” that are going to help , yes even prune drink prune juice, make prune tea, while they can’t see you have lost 40 plus pounds, they have no idea how many hours you have sat rocking with a stool elevating your feet, but like me, my legs fell asleep, and needed someone to get me off the toilet, then better try a diaper, because of your body pushing the gas peddle. So six months later I am having my “first” oncology appointment, don’t care about anything else except “just do it”! Going to take my hair off, I can control that, get some fancy earrings, some scarfs, eye makeup, and see I can be down and under, but not out of the game. Doing nothing has been the hardest, crying stops, when you stop beating yourself up. The road to the future, is what we make of it everyday forward. Hang in there with me, because you never know when a belly ache, is not just being constipated.
