I must admit I felt a little guilty when I realized the expanded cast of Cain and Mabel forced OVAS to put out a casting call, that guilt diminished to near zero when I heard the voices of Clara, Professor Integra, Onyx, Shamrock and Dune because Giratina, Darkrai and Yveltal they sound absolutely amazing. Nana Integra sounds so warm, welcoming and I just wanted to give her a big hug. Clara's energy is cranked up to eleven and Onyx's voice matches it so in sync I now can't imagine them sounding any other way. And of course Shamrock, the man sounds like James Earl Jones doing Mufasa and Morgan Freeman doing the voice of god. Dune has sass in his voice but he's got high energy to him, a perfect companion for someone like Clara. This part focusses more on the facility that facilitates Cain's intelligence, the Santalune Border Preserve (SBP) is off the trainer circuit and studies the behavior of pokemon in their natural environment as well as helping released and abandoned pokemon in the area reacclimatize to being in the wild. Cain's role in this research facility is a volunteer whom uses his 'pokepath abilities' to aid in pokemon care. Integra has taken a clear shine to him and considers him her number one assistant, apparently none the wiser that he is secretly a Zorua whom is using his illusion abilities to pose as a human. Parts 1 and 2 was mostly character focused, this one is world building before we get into our first big arc. We see how the nearby humans operate with the surrounding pokemon and the humans and pokemon are all voiced perfectly. This part is primarily a Cain focused part, I do personally love it when we can have Choccy involved as I love his voice and antics but the tones of the new characters and the new voice actors have warmed my heart and assured me as if it were needed that OVAS have got a great handle on this comic dub. And as always I am left with the need for more, but practice had made me good at being patient.

If they're going to the trouble of a casting call, it's only because their current talents aren't suited to the new characters, and they know the result will be worth it. I've actually gotten some ideas for my own series from these comics, including one where a character named Judah (viewer of my series who got his own character) has a Beedrill and after meeting Cain (in human form) discovers that his Beedrill IS IN REALITY WEEDELLA with it being explained that Weedella had accidentally wondered onto the trainer circuit and had gotten caught by Judah. (This is an in series explanation as to why Mabel doesn't trust humans Cain posing as Mables and the other pokemon in their groups trainer challenges Judah to a battle not to get back. Weedella Judah even offers to hand Weedella over to Cain so that she can be with friends But because Cain found out that Judah was: - part of a family that owned a pokemon ranch and often looked abandoned/injured/sick pokekon - his sister (Nemona) was actually the strongest trainer in the school (UVA Academy, long story as to how they end up in Paldea involving Area 0), and Judah himself was the strongest trainer in a group called the security core Judah and Cain also let Weedella and Mable sit this battle out since they hadn't seen each other since Weedella was caught. the academy has 3 cores: The A10 core (short for academy 10) who ventured into Area 0 to explore why Paradox pokemon dubbed Scarlet class or Violet class the academy 10 are the strongest students in Paldea that come from different regions with the rankings going: Nemona (Paldea) Alain (Kalos) Bea (Galar) Green/Blue (Kanto) Phoenix (Sinnoh, my own character) Doryu (Unova, fan with a character) Irida (Hisui, yes, there's an explanation) Tyson (Hoenn) Whitney (Johto) And Gladion (Alola) The only way to join the academy is 10 is either: - you beat a member who represents your home region in an all out No holding back battle, e.g., if Ash wanted to join, he'd have to beat Blue since Blue represents Kanto - your regions representative steps down or goes missing, and you are the next strongest trainer at the academy from your home region. (Usually someone in the security core) The Security Core: Tasked with protecting Paldea from none Area 0 related threats such as a wild Garchomp that frequently shows up looking for a challenger she deems worthy of being her trainer. Though they also are on standby in case Academy 10 needs reinforcements or someone to fill their ranks due to needing to go into Area 0 but all 10 members are not available, e.g., off sick or in Whitneys case gym leader duties. And the medical core: Who helps anyone wounded within Area 0 or by the Garchomp attack, whether it's people or pokemon. Unlike the Academy 10 core, there's no limit to how many people can join the security core or medical core.

Cain like all Zorua have the power of illusions and one of Cain's egg moves is Copycat which has enabled him to mimic human speech to make his disguise more convincing. He uses these abilities in tandem to volunteer at the preserve and use his allowance to get chocolate for choccy as well as other food and resources for his friends in the Santalune Forest and bordering areas
