Our trip was May 24 through May 31. The locals did say that it was an unusually late spring, and they were surprised with the amount of snow still on the ground. Also, there was an unexpected cold front that came the week we were there. We were in the mid 40s however, one week later they jumped to the mid 60s.

This one was through an independent company. But in all, honestly, I think it is the same company that most cruise ship use as there were very limited tour groups in Alaska.

Have to agree..... we wanted to she the "Cover of National Geographic Breaches" but we had no luck. They said it is the juveniles that do that based on how many calories doing that burns!
