Een circa 10 minuten durende film gemaakt in opdracht van Rheda 2000 VOF in samenwerking BAM en Pfleiderer. De film gaat over de werkzaamheden van het balastloosspoor Rheda 2000 op de hogesnelheidslijn van Amsterdam via Schiphol en Rotterdam naar Antwerpen (HSL-Zuid). De film is gemaakt in 2005 en getiteld 'The Right Track'.

In 1987, in Brussels, a political decision gave birth to the LGV Nord Europe. The project became a reality in 1996 with TGV Thalys under the name West Rail, managed jointly by SNCB and SNCF with the participation of 4 operators SNCF, NMBS, DBAG, NS.

But the history of these very high-speed rail links between France, Benelux and Germany is not new since the late 70s at the time of the CC 40100 and the Étoile du Nord. However, the commissioning, on 27 September 1981, of the very high speed with the TGV Paris Sud Est between Paris and Lyon marked the beginning of the decline of the Grand Express Européen.
