I know the length/shrinkage struggle all too well Quinn. Mine is also past my waist and it's a collar bone length in a wash and go state. The curls have no chill.

Omg, your hair is totally amazing! :) Also you're so gorgeous and cosmopolitan; you could easily transition from model to anchorwoman! ;) I've grown my hair much longer than what I've been told is possible, and I think it ties into your advice about not trimming your hair so often, and taking care of it. I probably trim mine three to four times per year, and even then only slightly. My hair is probably close to my waist at this point, but also I do very little heat styling. (almost none, frankly;) I colored it, and wish I hadn't, because I suffered a lot of breakage, but my hair still looks pretty okay nonetheless. My advice to everyone else is to not color your hair, period. ;) Thanks so much for the inspiration! You're lovely! :)

Hi Naturally Quinn I'd like to start off by saying you are so gorgeous and I love your hair. So I'm a guy growing my hair out. I've been growing it for three months now and I want to know when you shower do you cover your hair in a cap or not. Also do you reapply any product before wrapping it for bed. As well as how often do you condition your hair

Aww thank you! Yes I cover my hair in the shower anytime I am not washing it. I don't reapply anything to my hair before bed. The only time I would do this is if I was doing some type of over night treatment and washing it out in the morning. But not to preserve a style. And I condition my hair about twice a week. nerrisha ali Just for your information, you don’t necessarily have to be mixed with any other race to have long hair. We have women perceived as 100% black with tail bone length hair, too. Just saying, but true genetics does help a lot.

when I was about 8 I had tailbone length, then around 9yrs old I had mid back because I got it cut, im 14 now and I'm stuck at bra strap for about 2yrs now and its crazy cause last year I got it damaged and it went to armpit length and within 5 months it grew back to bra strap and I just cant seem to grow it back and yours grow so fast and we got the same hair type :'{
