I still don't see how and why obtaining a GF or wife is some magnanimous goal. Most women don't want a guy who's trying to build himself - they wait until he's complete and try to insert themselves into his existence.

What these youngsters need to understand, is that if you can figure out how to be a successful business owner, who remains in the green and is able to have an amazing life where nothing goes unmet. Then who gives a flying fuck what these broads think? Their ass probably stinks and they are looking for a free meal. You pay yourself enough to not care. I’m 42 and successfully run two businesses, while working a 3rd exclusively. My fucking wife is gorgeous and works hard herself. I’ve included my wife and daughter in my business ventures, and at this point, the wife will finally be able to leave education to run one of the businesses. When you make it to this level, and live around others like you. Nobody cares what you do like that. If they do, it’s for business relationships, and that is it, in other words, regardless of what you do, if you are successful all it’s gonna do is help that. These nothingburger broads will never help at any of that. And I’m damn lucky I don’t have to deal with them at all, nor do I want to. If I wanted to be an asshole to my wife, it would be goddamn easy, but to hell with that.

Agreed. This man tends actually to give good advice, but he missed the target by about 50 miles here. It is an absolutely horrible idea to rely upon a girlfriend for purpose in life as a man. The reality is people come and go. Do not get me wrong, I believe in the existence of genuinely good women (I think most are). The way he describes it here though really is no different from the situation that he criticises where one enters into a relationship on the basis of resources. By my experience, the only benefit to having a girlfriend is the psychological peace that follows from knowing that that part of life is considered "solved" for the time being, such that I can then focus on other things in life and do not have to worry about chasing women. Most women today are terrible helpers lol!

I’m sorry to hear that brother. I’m your opposite, wife of 14 years and a daughter of our own creation, no step kids no exs. I got fucking lucky at probably what could have easily been the worst years of my life after coming home from Iraq in 06. What I have in common with you, is I too experienced divorce. And a fucking ugly one. One where kids hearts were broken that I took as my own, one where my mother betrayed me and was at the police station spewing lies and bullshit about me being an unhinged veteran. One where I decided I didn’t have fucking anyone on my side, and when I met my wife, I sold all my shit, broke my fucking lease, and left to Texas and never looked back. Gods got a plan for you brother. One thing I’ll tell you, is that you got more shit going for yourself at your age than I ever did. I didn’t start really doing anything with purpose until maybe my late 30s. PTSD and massive depression from watching your friends off themselves fucking killed me inside. I fucking scare people by being my normal self, so I can’t hold a regular ass job. I had to fight 100 times harder to kick down doors that open up just fine to people with lesser efforts. And here I stand now, motherfucking this world and this shit society every day I get up and go the fuck after it. You do the same brother. I turn 42 on Thursday, and I just want to tell you I’m fucking proud of you if nobody else told you today. Keep fucking going after it, keep securing your contracts, keep building it brother, you sound like someone worth fighting for, and that’s something I always ask people to be if they ask me how they can thank me for what I’ve done. The two best strategies for figuring out what you are supposed to do with your life are to try a lot of things (and put in the effort consistently for a while) and to read/research. A lot of guys have never done either and want to know why they haven’t found the path. Brother, you’re not even looking. You gotta get out in the woods to find the path. I think another thing is people think too much about they want. Nobody cares what you want. You don’t even care what you want, frankly. You have to start thinking about what is worth doing. What kind of legacy do you want to leave? What will you be glad you did? What is a worthwhile goal to strive for? All of these matter a lot more than happiness.

Great topic. Id say late 20s is the best time to change career path and jump into an apprenticeship. Most of us major in useless things (honestly dont know why people allow 18 year olds to pick courses to study that affects their life). A sad reality ive noticed, is that the older we get the less motivation and enthusiasm we have for life. Its going to be a mental struggle to try to learn a new career in the 30s. Let alone the financial cut from whatever you were doing till that point. Absolutely agree with regards to living with a woman. The poorer you are the more it makes sense, especially for minorities... But the RP is like a magic spell that negates critical thinking and encourages vicariously living through others and mimicking their POV

Dude thank you so much for sharing that information. I'm exactly the same and it makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one. I'm 55 and I've had over 100 jobs in my lifetime. Never married. No kids. Don't know what I want to do. Maybe just travel and see as many different places as possible before I die. Peace!

If we're gonna get into Bible quotes (LFA started it) why not quote Jesus? “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them." That's not to say "don't work". But I think a healthy dose of "don't worry about it so much" is solid advice.

This isn't to sway anyone one way or the other, but I fit the description of the person you're describing. Recently I thought how getting a girlfriend or wife is essentially a life or death matter for me now, so I decided to put 100 percent into trying. It absolutely paid off, and for the first time in my life i met a girl I could easily see myself marrying, and she definitely seemed to feel the same about me. After dating for a bit she came over to my apartment for the first time and we hooked up. Then she ghosted me. I discovered after it was because my apartment wasnt nice enough and she didn't think I made enough money. And I'm roughly the triple 6. Obviously more details but I was like damn, this is crazy! You gotta keep going though. Zero point in giving up.

I agree with this and of course, it'll vary from guy to guy. I was single for many years and was making around 50K but then I found my current gf right before the pandemic. Long story short, we moved in after a year of dating and have been living together for almost 4 years. She makes about $120K and I make 90K now as she's motivated me to go for jobs I thought were out of my league. We don't have kids and have a one bedroom condo so we live pretty well since we have a combined $200K income with little expenses outside of housing. Honestly the highest quality my life has ever been, especially since I grew up poor.

I went from 20k in 2017 to over 330k mid 2021 before buying my first house without an insane income and pretty much no credit score besides a short loan on car in 2016 (paid off by 2018). This is pretty much a standard truth in today's society, aside from the small % of outliers. Getting a girlfriend isn't so much about wealth and appearance as it is about social status and having social groups of people with available/single women in them. You can be rich af and good looking, but if you have ZERO friends/friend groups you won't be getting any play whatsoever. Women today use social groups as a way to vet men/keep themselves safe, if you are a loaner who is in great shape, good looking, and works a stable career job but has 0 social life during the week/weekends then you just get no women whatsoever, because no one even knows who you are. There will be people who say go out and join groups/go to social events, but when you try that and find out that 95% of people at those are in privatized social cliques and really want nothing to do with you, then you see the harsh reality to the situation of today's anti-social hand picked friend group society Maybe its different in other parts of the U.S, but here in the North East, this is how it is

Every video like this, and every coach who presents a video like this, actually talks about what could be. And it could, but realistically and statistically it doesn't happen. I have absolutely no idea how to be financially stable. I also don't know how to drive nor know where to even start on talking to girls and a virgin so that's very unlikely. I am 27 years old and don’t have a lot of experience, but I am wary about taking a loan and paying interest. He mentioned what the Bible says about relationships, but I believe usury, or dealing with interest, is prohibited according to the Bible. I come from an Islamic background, so I may be biased, but I’m sharing my perspective. People do need capital to start a business, but I have a different approach. Instead of dealing with interest, I have paid a man a sum of money to invest in a business. When he makes a profit, I take a share. This is different from charging interest because my profit depends on his success, and I may also lose money if he incurs a loss. My approach is that we should try to build a community. I’m not claiming to be very successful, but I am expressing my viewpoint. I would appreciate the opinion of anyone reading this.

@@elasticharmony I think a lot of people have burdened themselves under the weight of bank loans. If we use profit sharing, even if there is a loss, the person who borrowed the money will not be burdened by the loan. If most businesses do actually make a profit and we use the model of profit sharing, the organization lending the money shouldn't face losses either.
