Meanwhile in France, our players stayed a total of 12 minutes to see us while we waited them for 9 HOURS !!! They preferred celebrate the victory with stars and with the president, far away from the crowd... Afterwards, while seeing this, I'd prefer Croatia win the final against us 🇫🇷💔

Coming from a Canadian with Croatian background (half to be exact, Italian being the other half). In Italy, if they were in Croatia’s position and lost, the country would be ashamed of them, because they’re always expected to do well But in Croatia, a country that has never gone this far in the World Cup, it’s astounding how well their country treated them. The journey from the airport to the main square lasted longer than the flight from Russia to Croatia due to fans that had swarmed the path. This footage doesn't do justice to how it actually was. I am glad this is being shown worldwide, as it reminds us that the differences should never overcome the similarities between people. Also, one more interesting fact, there was not a single major police intervention in more than 15 hours of celebration. Peace!

Croatia played for and with the heart of whole nation. That is why they played in the finals. And the main thing is that all players are actually born there. Same goes for Serbia,Russia,Poland... I will never ever forget this day. Got up in the morning traveled by train to Zagreb, got to square and stood on the same spot for 10 hours. It was tremendous heat, there where no drinks in nearby stores. But everybody kept singing through the whole day and it was not difficult to stand there for such a long time. The day that we will always remember. We may be small country, but we have huge heart and love for our CROATIA
