Over 500 People Couldn't Finish In 1 Hour!! Tony's "Godfather" Irish Breakfast Challenge in Cork!!

A&Z #168A - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Tony's famous "Godfather" Full Irish Breakfast Challenge hosted by Tony's Bistro on N Main St in Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland!! After finishing up our 6-state Midwest USA Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I flew across the pond to Dublin, Ireland so we could spend 40+ days exploring most of the major cities and areas around Ireland. During our travels, I attempted 16 Irish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #11, we headed to Tony's Bistro on N Main St located in Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland so we could both attempt their famous "Godfather" Irish Breakfast Challenge. I beat the challenge originally back in 2013 and still had the time record which was 47:02. Over 500 people have attempted the full Irish breakfast challenge since it started, and still nobody else could finish everything in under 1 hour. The actual time limit is 2.5 hours to finish a giant platter of typical Irish breakfast food items. Winners earn the entire meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. Katina wanted to try the challenge, so I wanted to try to beat my previous time while also creating a better video showing off the very popular challenge. BIG thanks to everyone with Tony's Bistro for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Tony's Bistro's "Godfather" Full Irish Breakfast Challenge in Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland (€30):
- Tony's Bistro on N Main St has been serving delicious food in Cork, Ireland over over 20 years.
- This "Godfather" Irish Breakfast Food Challenge has been available for many of those years.
- There are 8 Horgans Irish sausages, 6 smoked bacon rashers, a 6oz sirloin steak, 4 hash browns, 4 slices of Clonakilty black and white pudding, 2 fried eggs, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 bowls of chips, 3 whole fried tomatoes, 1 bowl of baked beans, 1 bowl of sauteed mushrooms, 1 bowl of fried onion rings, 6 slices of toast, and 3 slices of soda bread.
- There is a 2 hour & 30 minute time limit to finish everything. There are no bathroom breaks allowed.
- Winners receive the €30 Irish breakfast meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Wall of Fame!!

Just recently went to Ireland (from the USA) with friends and while in Cork and walking around, we walked by this place while wondering were to eat, so I was like WE need to eat here, long story short my friends thanked me, I told them before about a challenge but didn’t think we would actually come across the place, I didn’t look up the address. My great grandfather, Walter Kokosinski. He would eat a full dozen eggs, a whole loaf of toasted bread, a large can of baked beans, over a pound of ham and sausage, a couple pots of coffee, some potatoes, and some tomatoes. This was his breakfast every day, before he went to work. He worked at the shipyards since he was in his early teens, when he came to America from Poland. Not even 6ft tall, and he was built like a solid granite mini giant. 😁
