Over "crowded school buses, vans" seized by Nitika Khandelwal I.A.S.

In a swift operation today Joint Magistrate Roorkee Nitika Khandelwal and mobile squad intercepted overcrowded vehicles carrying school children in different parts of roorkee city.The team seized about 15 overcrowded buses ,vans and autorickhwas.Joint magistrate said cases would be registered against the owner and driver of the vehicles.

Before work from home, I used to leave at 7 a.m. for the office and that used to be school time. Overcrowded school vans used to be a common sight with drivers driving recklessly and talking on phone. Every time I see such vans, the incident of school bus falling from the bridge into yamuna river in 1998, comes to my mind. 😓😓😓😓

Mostly likely no action wud have been taken after this. Bcoz most of the schools in india are owned by MLAs and MPs so the IAS officers cant take any action. The MLAs deliberately dont improve state run govt schools and invest in private to whitewash their black money. You can see with such confidence the principal is taking the owner's name shows that they are either politicians or are well connected.

During my childhood, my teachers used to beat me throw me out of the classroom, which I obviously enjoyed but only fear was my head mistress and principal used to walk around the school and Class by class inspecting.
