Sooo much experience for such a young man. Not every night will be a win, please accept that. What a fabulous experience, racing first, or racing last must be a heck of a head rush, and be so much fun. Consider yourself really blessed as there are thousands of kids that would give anything to be in your place. Take the time and learn the craft, and dont let a few good drives go to your head. Remember your night can end with someone else', or your own mistake.

He’s not a robot!! The only way to find the limit is to go as hard in as it will go and work back The experience that he gained well outweighs the loss of positions,was wondering if he was ever going to make and he won’t make it again (probably,lol). Nothing wrong with a little humble pie every now and then. Keep up the great work young man , just can’t hardly wait to see what the next 5 years holds think it’s going to be an awesome ride. whats awesome is the kid went to the back and didnt wine or cry get upset . He got up on the wheel and drove back to ninth. whats so cool at a young age you cant tell if Talan won or finished ninth. He doesnt get to up or to down. great way to be.

Man is was good to see him come from the back to 9th. That is a very humble and honest young man. He knows he made a mistake and gave no excuses. He will only benefit from tonight's run. I would love to see him get a opportunity to sit in the 45 for a race.

I wasted a guy when I was that age, my dad said I have to talk to him. This guy was so mad he would have punched me right in the face, a few times but he just could not force himself to hit a 12 year old looking 80 pound kid, thank God on that one

Adam, I was thinking the same thing about Talan starting 4th and then going to the rear. He is usually out front driving his own line and being smooth. I thought when he went the rear, now let's see how he handles it. I thought he did a great job being patient racing and passing cars . I think he learned more in that race than any race in his short but amazing career. Best of luck on night 3 and the rest of the year.

A bad night at the race track is better than a good day sitting at the house. That’s how I was raised. No matter what, always remember to have fun!! Too many racers these days forget about the fun part of it and the reason they do it. Keep your head up, Talan! You drove a good race and got back up there. Keep digging guys!

Well mistakes happen he's Young still has a lot to learn they say you learn by your mistakes but going from the 20th spot back up to 9th he got some good practice passing cars overall a good learning experience for him but still a very good job very impressed with him and he will get them next time y'all have fun be safe and take care

Awesome driving Young Gun. Sometimes that shuffling to back will benefit him in the long run on how to deal with traffic. Talan just got a little impatient and excited but at least he learned from his mistake! Also need to remind him that sometimes you gotta slow down to be faster, I feel like if he had done that after going to the back he would’ve finished better!
