im a comoner on that route. before you travel to narok make sure your car is mechanically sound because that hill will expose the faults in your car being a stretch of 6km. of course there are people who know cars break down and are always ready with tool and a coolant bottle. the unfortunate thing is that that is not usually car coolant but food colour mixed with water. always be aware!

That hill , you were pushing the old machine abit too hard, teuck eith that hill is climb slowly not above 2000rpm and you will be okay. Road side mechanics is a no. I rather tow the car to the next town. But heating problem on a hill is a simple diagnosis and fix

please avoid overspeeding - it may 'seem' enjoyable at the moment.. but it's stupid and the consequences if something happens are not reversible just drive at 80 km/hr if you have a normal car maybe 100 km/hr with a super car.. you will reach... chances are you will catch up with the crazy 120-160 km/h speedsters somewhere in kitengela in a jam.. and you wont have risked your life for nothing
