Fun Fact: Over the Hedge has been referenced in science. An aurora-like natural phenomenon was named STEVE in reference to the scene where the animals discover the hedge. STEVE is an acronym for Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement and radiates a purple and green light. So, without Over the Hedge, we wouldn't have an aurora named Steve. Thanks, Dreamworks!

This movie had so many recognizable celebrities. Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carrell, Wanda Sykes, Allison Janney, Nick Nolte, William Shatner, Thomas Haden Church, and that’s just to name a few. My favorite part personally were the songs, even though “Heist” and “Rocking the Suburbs” did sound like theme songs for family sitcoms.

That scene where the bear eats the moon like a chip changed the way I ate potato chips. No joke, I would find a nice round potato chip and chomp on it the way that bear did This movie altered my brain chemistry

I can say with enough certainty that Over the Hedge is one of my favorite animated movies ever. GOATED casting (Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, Wanda Sykes, Eugene Levy, Nick Nolte, etc)
