It is easy when you have flow between your mind, fingers, voice, and instrument. I have been playing this one for years. This is the best, most beautiful, accurate cover of this song I have ever heard- I was doing the bridge chords on the upper neck- but now you have shown me that they can be done down around the headstock with regular chords... Wow! What a performance- what an accurate cover. Jimmy would be proud! Now I will watch your video over, and over again to emulate what you have done... Priceless. And free. As many times as I want to watch you do it... Thank you for that. You are very talented and according to my observations-- you don't read a note. Obviously an ear player- just like me... I humbley thank you for this lesson... YOU KICK ASS! WOW!

@TommyWrenn Жыл бұрын
@@sigitprabowo363 my problem too. I improvise too much. But i like to learn a song for what it can show me. Then add those techniques to my playing. That way I learn the song, kinda, but retain the artists techniques as my own to enhance my style a bit.

Beautiful all over. Very professional especially with the 12 string. I’m a beginner (have been for ages due to lack of continuity), practice this sometimes and I find it tough to get it clean with the pulloffs. I think I might be muting the 2nd string at times when it needs to ring open before the 2nd set of pulloff or the pulloffs of 4/2/0 are just not clean and it sounds like I’m skipping notes or I rush the timing. Can’t figure it out but I’ll keep trying. When you pull off from the 4th to 2nd fret, I’m assuming it’s hard pull off as opposed to just letting go of the string, right?
@dmetallikid2 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s like a rolling pull off, first from 4th to 2nd, then from 2nd to open! Hope this helps! And thank you for the compliment
@naj26982 жыл бұрын
@@dmetallikid thanks Dylan. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it someday. Another thing I forgot to mention is that I haven’t learned the up-pick yet so it might be too much to do all down-picks.

Good cover . What guitar are you playing ?
@dmetallikid2 жыл бұрын
A fender 12 string. I suck at sun models and stuff but it’s about 16 years old at this point
@riviecc2 жыл бұрын
@@dmetallikid Thought it was a Fender . I had an early 90 s Fender 12 string . Traded it to guitar center for a seagull s12 . The body was bowing up at the bridge from the string tension . Action wasn't bad but I didn't think it would last much longer . I was running out of room to adjust it . They gave me 400 for it . Don't know if it was the right move , but I do like the seagull
@williamkline6450 Жыл бұрын
