"...the way is very long, and the winning very short" That's a gold line that (sadly) sums up sports extremely well 👏

Maravilloso.

Filmed beautifully like a movie, and also subjective like one...
@LuLu-vf6py4 жыл бұрын
Why subjective? Marta Prus just filmed the way to the Olympics, without personal comments... so actually it's very objective
@wuhui3 жыл бұрын
@@LuLu-vf6py because even a documentary can be biased and subjective. By editing. By deciding what to leave out, what to put in. By the fact you cannot film everyone 24 hrs. By not being able to know what they really think or feel inside.

I read an interview with Marta Prus, the filmmaker. She said that Irina Viner liked the film because she felt it showed the real life of rhythmic gymnastics.
@valeriexoxo3 жыл бұрын
@@LuLu-vf6py maybe because it didn’t show the pressure on Irina to produce a winner. She looks like a mob boss (or something worse that I’m not going to say) with that silly hat. I don’t get why it’s so important for any country to dominate a sport. It’s not a war.

this is so stupid how is any person going to be the best in his/her sport if they don't work so hard. look at where she is right now, one of the best rhythmic gymnast and she did it by working hard And why would she even continue to do this if she does not like the sport

They just need gold, anyhow. Next Olympics there will be another young girl.
@battlehymnoftheempath36104 ай бұрын
@TabooTalz I agree. If you watch Artistic gymnastics, Sunisa Lee has a very encouraging couch, and she is one of the best gymnasts in the world. The same is true of Simone Biles and Rebecca Andrade, and yet even without this kind of duress, they manage to win medals. I remember watching a video of Viner telling Kabaeva that she was a fat cow. She hasn't changed in 24 years. I'm sure without her, Russians will still be the best in the world and maybe even better.

How is anybody supposed to win Olympic gold if they don’t push themselves over the limit? In any sport you win nothing if you’re just regular. what a stupid statement
@danutaja17874 жыл бұрын
This does not mean that someone can call another person a stupid cow, shout, humiliated and etc. The scene in which Irina tell to imagine the death of Rita's father exceeds all limits.

why? she speaks perfectly fine english. it’s one of the most difficult languages to learn. and most english speakers don’t have the drive or the want to learn other languages because they think the world revolves around them. to learn another language is a pretty big feat.
