THANK YOU. A couple of months ago i bought sad little lemon tree from store. I followed instructions from the label and common sense told me it needed more water. However, i was worried about "over watering". After finding your videos I've really increased my watering especially on hot days and the tree took off. Crazy to think i almost killed the tree by not watering.

I have to say I do enjoy your videos. I am a beginner gardener and could not find any good videos of how much to water or even if I am overwatering. I have going through your videos because I also live in Arizona. I been wracking my brain if I was overwatering or underwatering this summer. Looks like I have found my answer. What if half the roots are in good draining soil but the other half are constantly wet? Because I have some blueberries planted in aged pine bark and my land doesn't perc, the top 6" dry but the next 2ft in the soil are constantly soaking wet? Roots for blueberries shouldn't go past 18" so I'm wondering if that top 6 being dry and getting oxygen would be okay?

I have barbados cherry bush. Currently probably 7 feet in height. Planted over 2 years ago. West facing. Lots of sun. Watering every other day, an hour for probably 5 galons of water. It just started flowering but most flowers fall with no fruits. Could it be underwatering?

if your soil has organic material, the bacteria is already there.

@@qctropicals exactly! So, why kill it then? You can't actually kill them because it will come back as soon as the cause is not remove.. That's their role in all living things, as part of the life cycle. 🤔

You're right. I have sweet potatoes shoots sitting in water jar and loving it. That's ultimate overwatering, and yet... he lives.
