At the end of last season, before the first frost, I moved some of my pepper plants into my sunroom where they survived the winter. Now, they are starting to show real promise for their second season and are far ahead of my plants I started by seed.

For years I’ve been telling myself that I should try over wintering my peppers inside. Still haven’t done it. It’s neat to see them coming back to life. I can see several advantages to over wintering a few plants.

I definitely did not do it the textbook way, but it still worked. With your greenhouse, I think they would work.

The soil will need refreshing so it can feed the plants. By now those plants are hungry.

That’s so cool I tried to put mine in the greenhouse but they didn’t make it when the temperature drop here in Georgia.🌱🪴

I think I had an advantage with my sunroom being attached to my house. That extra warmth from the house might have been the difference.
