Overall Bucharest Romania Experience - Is it worth it?

277 pounds seems like a lot. I would advise anyone from UK to visit Bucharest in October or April/May. Plane tickets prices are very affordable and the weather is very nice. Summer in Bucharest can be a traumatizing event, unless you are a heat fiend.

Valid points, I totally agree. We had to go to in Aug and take the hit on tickets due to our availability! It's more expensive from Edinburgh but cheaper from London or Manchester (which is too far for us)

@@kosarthebrave, true that, u can find good deals all year round flying out from London. But I guess Ryanair provides excellent deals from Edinburgh to Bucharest in October/ November, like 50-60 pounds.

Conflicting work schedules did not allow this. And now we will explore new places! Are you from UK?

@@kosarthebrave, nah, I`m from Romania. But I really wanna visit Edinburgh next year, it seems like a fascinating city. Been to London a couple of times already, now I wish to see more of what UK has to offer. I guess I will HAVE to make it in the summer, with the pricier tickets, cuz weather in October over there doesnt seem that nice.

You might get good weather in Summer but our summers are not as good as yours. Edinburgh has so much history and the inspiration for Harry Potter! People from all over the world come to Scotland! We have the most wondefuly greenery and views! Romania was a wonderful city, we loved it!
