Backed this on KS and just received it. Looking forward to getting this on the table with one of my gaming groups.

I really love the style that you guys have for your videos, introducing the game, and then playing it really helps me understand how fun the games can be with my friends. I just ordered the game because of your wholesome playthrough :)

Tile placement games are not normally my thing, but you two sold me this one. I'd definitely buy it if I came across it, and would love to have a chance to play it. Great video guys, really, really enjoyed watching.

Thanks for another awesome video! Just received this game and can't wait to play. It looks like a fun, short, filler type game that I can easily get to the table these days.
@BeforeYouPlay3 жыл бұрын
Yup, easy to teach and simple ruleset makes it a quick experience. Only issue is sorting all the pieces after lol.

Thanks for the multiplayer play through! I played the base solo variant. It wasn't terribly challenging though I did just play with the base terrains. The solo campaign looks cool and will be trying that in good time.

At 13:20 you choose to place the token just picked up on a different tile since it is open. I thought you could only do that if you have a token from a previous turn in your lair?

I’d love to play this game! It looks so much fun! I can afford the game, but here comes the hard part: now I just need to find a friend.
@xandermichael783 жыл бұрын
This reminds me of Cascadia with the way you draft one bigger tile and a smaller one with it. Looks like a fun game with some interesting decisions to be made and nice that there's a good selection of different terrains so that you're rarely playing the same game again. A bit light though for my taste and since I already have Calico, which has incredibly meaty decisions, I think I'll pass on this one, but still add it to my want to play list.

Really enjoyed the video! Been binging your play-throughs all day today since that’s the mood I’m in apparently. I was curious what your final thoughts were about this game, since you didn’t have much of a review section at the end of this one. It seemed like you had a good time playing it for the most part.

Awesome play through. I really enjoy this game. Have you guys tried playing with the command card yet? They definitely make the game more interesting being able to mess with your opponent's lay out 😈

A dungeon is not a type terrain so you were wrong there. The 2nd dungeon pick was not a good one and makes the scoring wrong, both dungeons only worth 7 together

Somebody, please tell the woman to s l o w d o w n when she speaks.

I, for one, enjoy her fast speaking. I can understand her perfectly and prefer fast speakers over slower speakers since it doesn’t take as long for them to convey what they want to say. You can turn on the auto-generated subtitles whenever you have a tough time understanding what someone is saying (although admittedly, they’re not always perfect).

I knew this was sponsored because this game is horrible. It’s barely a game :/
@BeforeYouPlay3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ryan, sorry you feel that way. I do think this one would play very well for families.
@immortalsun2 жыл бұрын
I don’t have Overboss, but from what I’ve seen (from ProZD’s review of this game), I’d have to disagree. If you play the game in the basic/beginner mode, you’re right: it’s barely a game, as you don’t interact with the other players, and it mostly comes down to chance and who picks the cards and tokens first. But-if you play the advanced mode, with the bigger board (by turning it over) and include the two sets of advanced cards, the game becomes much more fun, interactive, and competitive. The boss cards give you a unique ability that you can use to spice the game up, as well as a specific unique condition to give you bonus points if you follow the directions on the card. And the command cards allow you to directly affect your opponent or opponents’ card(s), making the game more competitive and giving it more depth. I’m definitely planning on buying this game. It seems like a fun tile-laying game that isn’t overly complicated and complex like many others out there.

Game is a blast. Don’t know what you’re talking about. How is this less a game than Kingdomino or Castle Party?
