Looking superb. Only suggestion would be that marina facing apartments are usually sold at a premium, due to location, so would imaging that they would have an unobstructed view of the marina rather than looking out into a tree.

Had a good laugh about the fries shop 😂 Very nice build today with a lovely town center!! The land you asked what we thought you should do with i, that has mountains etc. would be pretty to develop a tourist area maybe? I always think of that comparing it to where I live. We survive in these mtns on self-employment since it's seasonal. People escaping the heat in summer and skiing in the winter. Lots of high-end housing. Huge tourist industry here. Always so busy. Nightmare for locals lol. Loved the build today! 🤩

A nice little isolated college town would be good for that isolated space between the mountains. In fact, you could turn the mountain itself into a sort of observatory if you find the right mod or there is an asset I haven't seen yet

Hi Egg! On that side of the map, min 1:12, I would probably build a touristic small villa (city), kind of like Miami Beach vibe. Have some more developed hotels and assets. It definitely suits islands in general in South and Central America as well! And you can use the mountain next to it to build a few rich homes (like the mansions). Great build, as always!

Last weekend I took a ferry from a little beach community to an island off the coast. Having all this stuff on this coast reminds me of that, because as the ferry went by, kids and adults were very close and we waved to each other.

Loved this episode❤......the school, the marina sit perfectly in the town.......looking forward to some bus action soon.......and I think this build should be a no trains one ( not sure about it ) coz of the terrain and it would be fun to manage the various bus routes across the island.....do give it thought.......😅

The homeless issue is a known problem with the Economy 2.0 patch, and the developers will look into it when they return from their summer break. It impacts crime and medical services demand. I have used the brute-force Bye Bye Homeless mod successfully. Deleting all the parks and providing a zero-fee bus route to an outside connection can help in some circumstances.

Regarding the wind turbines - if I recall, wind speed is variable in CS2, so the batteries can help cover you during the low wind periods and let you get a little more mileage out of the turbines before having to switch to some other source. I don't know if they were overhauled in the big update, but I've found them surprisingly effective for the cost.

Make sure to use the Bye Bye homeless mod to get rid of the homeless before it causes problems with your save game. It ruined my game for days before I found out there was a mod to fix it

Hello great video. Just turn off terrain shadows and get rid of the shadows on the roundabout. This happens because the terrain is uneven and smoothing also solves it.

If you want to remove the weird dark shadows on roads you can do it in tthe advanced video settings. It's called something like Terrain cast shadow ;)

CityPlannerPlays found out today during a live stream that you can fix the shadow bug with the retaining walls by changing the "shadow quality" setting in the graphics options to "low". It might work for the roundabout weirdness (he didn't have any in the city that I noticed.)
