Love the wedding venue. These places are a real thing, and are a big business. I just visited one in the Napa Valley! I was visiting a client at her home in a country club where it was originally all about the golf course, and condos. For the last decade, and expanding now, is the club's big money maker: their expansive wedding venue. They have all the aspects you show here: the banquet room, the honeymoon cottage, the outdoor stage and seating for the ceremony; the spot on a bridge where wedding photos are taken, the gardens, the cafe, the children's area. One thing they were in the process of constructing was a new cottage near the ceremonial garden where the bride would get dressed with all her bridesmaids. Wedding venues are not something we necessarily had quite like this in the past, but its quite the thing today, and your design is just perfection.

I really loved it, but I think one of the working hotel from the Hotels & Retreats mini-expansion would add something. Also, when are we going to see the Sydney Monorail appear?

Great shout! Old inn would have gone perfectly here! Wasn't even aware of the monorail! Can check it out 😌

Next to Brisbane's airport is the DFO "Direct Factory Outlet" mall (ie brand stores like Puma, Adidas etc), and next to it is a golf driving range, of which there is an asset in-game. Might be an interesting mix for that space next to the Thessia airport.

Thessia is one of my favorite cities you've created. The amount of uniqueness is always amazing to see! As always, thanks for the time, care, and creativity you put into your cities! Cheers! Edit: I was looking at the large pond and some tall grass and green throughout the rocks would give it a nice touch

You must have had some designing or engineering in your life! I work at a gated community for the very well to do people near where I live. And you hit it pretty spot on!! Actually, they could get some good ideas from you ☺ I love all the boxwoods!! Even the family jewels fits in 😂 Great build!! 🤩

Lore for the wedding venue; The quay walls is what’s left of what once were the great castle walls of the old royal family. Over looking and controlling the the small fishers town of Sentinel. But once the villagers got sick and tired of the rule of the royal family, they fought in the Great Battle of Sentinel with the help from great warriors from neighbouring villages. It is said that the brave Valkyrie’s are the ones who stormed the castle and brought peace among the island. It’s from the castle wall ruins that the decided to build the beautiful country estate for Sir Jerry Eggbart III, who swore to spread love and peace for eternity. The end.

I get the feeling that either the bride or groom is prisoner, with the wedding guests look like they might be federal agents performing escort duty. this might also explain why a policeman is performing the service and why there is only one person sat on the chairs.

Next to many commercial airports there is often a lot of warehousing for bonded goods, throw in a couple of low level, non polluting factories manufacturing things like the in flight sandwiches and a vehicle repair depot for the airports service vehicles, and you get a reasonable set up. You may also want to add a petrol station at the main road junction for good measure.

I love how focused each build is. My cities end up sprawling unrealistically and yours develop so naturally. Almost like you are the developer of each property you build on. Very methodical, sensible and my favorite CS creator!

That is quite a big venue, they'd probably even allow to have 2 weddings and a big birthday party at the same weekend. But a very very nice place to have a such a special event, loving all the park space to 'get lost in'.

this city has around 125k people living there - i wonder: Where is the "shi**y" part of the city? the parts with low income, bad housing and weird shops promoting another gambling issue? I'd be great to see these parts, too. And i'm pretty sure: these parts are actually vital for cities. And i'd be more realistic. now, it just looks like the middle-class dream....
