remind the pianist to smile all the time she is playing her instrument - I so thrive on how everyone in the choir sings with their whole hearts in full accord - now get her to join the rest of your great and wonderful singing for Jesus group I call - my brothers and sisters in Christ. Let the redeemed of the Lord say SO - I just did !

There is a LOT MORE to playing all the notes with both hands and watching the pages...you don't smile when the music is like that...just giving that pianist a break...she is a GREAT accompanist.

The pianist and instrumentalist have to totally concentrate on the music score while also following the director. I'm amazed at their follow ability to read and play the score of this piece. They cannot "play" their face at the same time. WOW! I'm an old-timer. When I grow up, I want to be able to appreciate this type or style of worship music. I cannot give this a thumbs up or down. I try to worship whenever I'm in a worship service and a song like this is happening. I can only know that God is somehow blessed. I have to just pray because I am left out without the score. I try to mouth the words on the screen but I cannot even do that due to the unknown tempo. Us old retired music ministers of small churches are retired for a reason. God is and has grown up new writers of new styles of music. Us old-timers just have to rejoice that the newer musicians and worshippers allow us to be part of His Church and we can smile as we hear His younger children worship Him. May Jesus Christ Be Praised!

I'm a retired accompianist and agree with you. Not only do you have to concentrate on the music and follow the director, It was my fom of worshipping the Lord and was so thankful to have had the opportunity to do that. Due to a medical diagnosis I'm no longer able to play the piano. I praise the Lord for worship leaders that help feed my soul. God is so good!

Dallas First Baptist...I know you can't please everyone, but this song has to be a newer worship song...it is so sing songy and drifts all over the place like a 16 yr old guitar player wrote it...the lyrics are wonderful...the melody...I listened for 3 minutes and it was so disappointing. Forgive me, I am not complaining about the musicians or the singers...the melody of so much of the music...there is rhyme or reason to the melody....I could sense the singers had trouble with it! Thanks for letting me rant...take it down if you don't like my frankness...please reconsider...thanks.

I wonder how the director "got into" this number enough to make the financial investment plus the investment of time to actually be able for his musicians to share this number with us.
