@@HopeAndSunshine I used to be on The Special Ed Advisory Comitee for Virginia Beach Public Schools the first to understand from a Student perspective. Keep fighting to get Relyn what she needs. From my experience there are idiots out there that want to take advantage of the student and take forever to get the equipment you need. I have had the school take forever to get me a cctv to read small print I got the run around from several eye specialist til I got connected with Dr Ticum thanks to my boyfriend at the time Jack had his mom connect me with him. Keep up the fight. Keep me posted I want her to have what she deserves to succeed in school and life God bless

I saw on your other one that it's your birthday in April. I love this channel I'm still watching over on my tablet. But I was taken the first time I saw your family's videos. Wonderful story and it's been amazing watching Raelynn grow. She looks more mature in just a year. She is going to be 9 in April? I love supporting your channel and I get lost in the videos. The walk on the adoption story was lovely. Look forward to part 2. Hope you managed to clean up the patio ha ha that was funny. Binky sends fluffy hugs. He had a bad few weeks again with his seizures and a pretty bad one night before last but is doing ok now. Seizure pet that he's now on is incredible stuff!

Today's visitation day and I'm excited. The. Rise told my mom that she made so much progress and that they all thought she wasn't going to make it

Glad to hear your mom is getting better. Don't worry about the dislikes, they actually still help KZbin videos do better. Dislikes still count as engagement, and engagement is what KZbin cares about.

Wow, an amazing device, and I bet more and more similar technologies are always being developed. Same as using any kind of new machinery or technical device or tool, it’s tricky at first and takes time and practice to learn. I hope it’s possible for Raelynn to have a device that’s helpful for her, either this one or another one. So neat that Raelynn made the Winslate say “Dad” and her name, and her birthday! (and “Goodbye”lol 😁) Such a cool video to see, thanks for sharing 👍And love your two kitties waiting at the door😄

This is amazing! I m not an expert on these things, I was wondering whether she would do better if the choices she has are applicable to her, so instead of using the bathroom or eat, she has choices like mum, dad, sister, brother, and you won t be next to her until she chooses. So if she chooses dad, you 'll be a bit away from her and then you go next to her... or other things she has like toys etc. This might help her understand better by learning cause and effect

In my opinion,1 month is too short with win slate trial.the reason is because of her eye condition=comitment to an icon will gradualy have to increase a few miliseconds periodicly before it will activate to indicate intention. I know she is smart,its just her eye condition and whether or not she is willing to be in the world at the time. Just my opinion,you would know best for sure. Have a great day!

I agree. They only do one month trials though as far as I know. Hopefully she will be able to get and keep her own.
