Overcoming Homesickness at Camp

At Frost Valley YMCA, we understand that homesickness is a natural part of the summer camp experience. While it can be very difficult, the experience of overcoming homesickness can be valuable for a child's growth and development. In this video, we discuss how homesickness is treated at Frost Valley and what families, campers, and camp staff can do to support children experiencing homesickness at camp.
