Sadly, nobody has ever recovered from an injury like hers. Unless science can find a way to deal with spinal cord injuries of course, and there is loads of work being done in that field.

I feel so sorry for her, but she is strong-willed. This story makes me think of the actor Christopher Reeves and his accident. Christopher Reeves was an actor who played Superman, and on May 27, 1995, he fell off his horse and broke his neck, leaving him paralyzed in a wheelchair.
