Laziness is also a sin because we take what God has blessed us with for granted. There are people who would do anything to go to school, to have a job, to have a home to take care. Yet we that already have these blessings we take them for granted which results in ungratefulness.

Getting ate up like this isn't fun, but God knows I need it LOL 😭 I've watched so many "stop being lazy!" videos that camp on building 15 different habits starting at 4am that I just can't keep up with especially in this day and age. But this was so convicting, because it's based in Word. Besides other valid reasons for not being able to do certain activities or wanting more time to do them, arrogance is a LOT of it. I arrogantly say "I'll start this Monday" as if that Monday is really promised. I'd then spend my time rotting in bed 😭 Another aspect I'd like to bring is, God also knows my heart! If He knows my schedule is packed a certain week, if He knows my stresses, He can also make a way for that Monday! He sustains, He is our daily bread, He will make a way fit if He so chooses. Even through my mental illness, He still loves me and wants the best for me and all of you. God bless xx 🤍

I think the old saying "idle hands are the devils workshop" is so spot on. The reason the devil can talk you into things when you are idle is because your mind isnt on anything. He can fully torment you and talk you into sin when your brain is "off". If you are lazy and just sit around all the time, your mind is off and you can also fall into depression that way. And lust can go back to laziness because if you are sitting there doing nothing with your phone in your hand, it is easy to turn to porn. This is a good message brother it has been on my mind lately too.

💗 NOTES I GOT FROM THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO : - ~ ~ ~ .Make the most out of every opportunity. Don't be lazy and waste your time . Do not boast about the next day for who knows if there is a next day. Do not say "I will do this tomorrow" but say "IF God Wills-" . Use your days wisely Every Hour is a Gift so use it. Some people don't do anything because they're lazy causing them to lose it. .Having Gratitude helps us to overcome it. It makes us humble and thank him and rejoice in him makes us grateful for this day and gives us motivation to use it wisely. .Being lazy is a sin cause your procrastinating a opportunity you think you might get again. 💗💗

Just a reminder for anyone that needs it: Being unproductive doesn't necessarily mean you're arrogant and lazy. There can be other factors getting in the way of your ability to get up and go - things that aren't automatically solved by just being grateful. Depression, ADHD, chronic illness, grief, etc. can get in the way. Personally what motivates me to overcome my inactivity is knowing God loves me intimately and is excited to see what I will do in my life - that it brings him joy to watch me and that it's wonderful to produce work while having it in mind that I get to share it with him and that he is pleased with it like a parent would be of their child's drawing on the fridge. Meaning, we don't need to earn his love through work, but he loves seeing what we do.

- It’s irrigate to think that you’re going to do things tomorrow. The better way is to think if it’s God will to do it - laziness and procrastination is a sin, because it’s assuming God will give you another time to do something. - Humble yourself, God has given you 12hrs a day to do what you need to do everyday. - Time is a gift, God doesn’t owe you anything. Use your time wisely, don’t waste the time that God has given you. - Be grateful for the time God has given you, this is the true way to get over laziness. - Be humiliated. You must not waste the gift of time that God has given you. - Gratitude and being humble is the true way to get over laziness.

Arrogance has such a harsh picture because we rarely hear that word - but the Bible definitely tells us how foundational pride is to all other sins (Lucifer in Isaiah 14, the pride of life in 1 John 2) Whoever wants to become great must become a servant. Just like Christ, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10) So good. I like the framing of this. I just wanted to say I really appreciate how you repeat & reiterate elements of the word bc some stuff goes over my head & then hearing it rephrased makes it click! Bless you

Goatee slaps ngl 😂 but thank you for this episode. Actually today I was struggling and hating myself for being lazy and procrastinating practically everything. So when I saw this pop up on my for you I knew it was God, and this encouraged me. Because 1. I’m not alone in struggling with this and 2. I should celebrating and be thankful for the time on earth God has given me and take it and use it for its full purpose. So thank you very very much, and can’t wait for the next episode.
I'm crying while watching this. I realized that because of my laziness, I have neglected my calling. Thank you for this reminder! This is what I need to hear rn. God bless 🙏🏻

Thanks for the word Braxten! Another thing that the Holy Spirit reminded me of throughout the video was when David got lazy and didn't fight on the Battlefield, it led to the sin he committed with Bathsheba, which was lust. God bless!

Braxten...this is my first video of yours that I have seen. Wow! Did it hit home! God is using you in mighty ways. Continue to listen to His voice so He can use you. Im a 62 year old female who has had back issues for 6 years. It's so easy to be lazy when you are injured. I am thanking God that I found your channel...to remind me that I must remove pride in my life, not take any day for granted and know that He is in control. May God bless you abundantly! I look forward to seeing all your videos!

I wept when you prayed. Needed this reminder and that prayer. I felt a bit overwhelmed, transitioning rn but I see what God has called me to, can’t make excuses. So much love bro, this was straight from Jesus and really woke me back up! I rebuke laziness. So grateful for this video. I felt a burden lift off me but I’m gonna remember just to look at the steps the Lord is ordering and set goals everyday.

Thank you for this much-needed message! I went straight to being productive because I got caught being lazy. "Laziness is a sin," my morning reminder now.

I am struggling like I never have before. I put myself in this position. But I have no friends. Only my family. Which I am so very grateful for. But I’m a lost soul. Without a single friend. I pray the I can follow gods will and that I may pull myself out of this darkness that surrounds me. I can’t do this alone

Hey, I’m not gonna lie, this message just cleared my mind, like crazy. Listening to that, I was looking to my life and I was the type of person like when there is job to do, I was like : “ maybe after, not this time, I don’t feel like it” but your message just gave strength, humility and gratitude to say to myself : “ hey, God gave you time, use it wisely.” Thanks 🙏🏾 For real men.

Thank you! I've been struggling a lot more lately with laziness. And even though it can be a mental and physical consequence, what you said truly said brought major clarity. I always felt more inclined to being lazy when it came to God when it should be a priority. I was literally praying about my laziness two days ago since I was starting a fast and wow, your video popped up on my feed. Thank u for letting God use you! God answers all prayers!!!

I’ve had this video on my watch later for weeks now, and man I finally clicked it today and thank you man of God!!! You’re spreading truth here and calling us out, love that you not only spoke on being lazy about seeking God and being in relation with Him, but also being lazy and not stewarding the things the lord has blessed us with properly like education, ability to work, etc; that’s something I really needed to hear. Keep speaking truth 🙏🏾

I feel like this really was sent from God for me to see. This past month I’ve been dealing with so much procrastination and laziness especially with getting into the word and I asked God to help me and my yt isn’t filled with a lot of Christian content so seeing this randomly and it being super specific further makes me believe this is the answer to my prayer. Thank you ❤️🩹

Lust is also temporary pleasure instead of investing in a loving relationship so that is laziness

You were the first thing that popped up that talked about God so I clicked it … I’ve been soooo busy & haven’t been in my word so ik this was for me. I was doing a crochet project while watching. I stopped to eat. Said after I ate I would finish the project THEN I would read my word. My daughter just fell asleep. I was thinking to myself “I was put here to bring more ppl to God. Yes, I’m allowed to enjoy the things I like but FIRST I need to give back to God” that right there let me know to get up & get my bible & journal. Thank you so much.

Laziness is directly linked with lust because you’re too lazy to wait for the right person that God wants for you, you’re too lazy to stick to one partner because it’s hard work.

I just want to say, that God answered your prayer when you prayed that this video be sent to people who struggle with laziness. I never seen one of your videos and this video can across my KZbin feeds. I clicked to watch it and I been pondering on psalms 118:24 the week that passed and when you quoted it, I just feel Jesus using you to talk to me. Keep doing what you doing and God bless you!

i think it was you whom i saw on tiktok that talks about procrastination is a product of pride. that kind of planted to my mind and now i think that everytime i am feeling lazy to do something, i get this thought that "what if this your last day and you wouldn't have another day of chance to do this?" and that lead to thanking God every time I wake up because it means He gave me another chance to redeem myself, to do the thing i left yesterday and that is so beautiful. thank you for video and i pray that you'll reach more fellows.

BROTHER… God is going to bless you for this, I’m starting my own podcast and this word was so incredibly touching and I even have my mom shocked because exactly what you spoke about is what I prayed about. God speaks through his children to not even touch just the lost but the even the children who need to hear something directly from him 💗🙏🏽🫶🏽‼️💕Thank you Jesus

May God bless you greatly Brexten for sharing this to us because often times I see laziness as just a normal part of life and don't acknowledge that God really doesn't want us to be lazy. I pray that God will help us overcome laziness in our wal with him in Jesus name. Amen.

Just FYI...the reason this video has popped off (aside from your obvious charisma and authenticity etc) is coz of the packaging. The thumbnail is miles better than your others because of the vibrant contrasting colours and interesting setting. The topic is also quite controversial too. If you do some more with this exact format, I guarantee, it will pop even more. Wishing you the best.

5:58 laziness can be traced back to lust because lust is not waiting and being diligent till marriage and also when you aren’t doing what your supposed to do you end losing purpose and a man without purpose often fills the void with pleasure

Yea every sin can be tied back to arrogance and pride. Laziness, lust, gluttony, jealousy etc. that’s why God hates pride because it’s the cause of sin!!😮 Thank you for this message!! I will rely on humility and gratitude to overcome this sin. Thank you brother!!😊✨

THANK YOU BRAXTEN✨❤😩!!! For being obediant to God and sharing this word. Ive been trying to get out of the bed and do the stuff God has called me to do but the caught up work freaks me out and I try to numb the anxiety by something and I try passing the time through something, It is a cycle that goes on. GOD I ASK YOU TO FORGIVE ME FOR BEING ARROGANT and guide me as I choose to honor you with my day. AMEN!
