Laziness is also a sin because we take what God has blessed us with for granted. There are people who would do anything to go to school, to have a job, to have a home to take care. Yet we that already have these blessings we take them for granted which results in ungratefulness.

I (16 yo girl) have called myself a Christian since I could talk. I spent absolutely no time learning about him and only "came to him" if I needed something. I randomly got the surge today to look up God's word today, and I feel changed. I feel sad I missed out on such wisdom for so long and I am so incredibly thankful for this video. Thank you so much for this. As a senior in high school every single one of my days is filled with work, school, sports, and worry abt college and future experiences. I am so tired that I can complete all those things in a day but rarely find time to read my Bible or study the word. I am tired of wasting the time God gives me to spend with him. Thank you so much for helping me realize this! My goal is to spend time with God in the breaks of my day like the ten minutes in the morning before I leave for school, the class hours I have nothing to do. This topic reminds me of Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed and where it says in they Bible “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. I prayed over my breakfast this morning and i also asked God to forgive me for not seeking him lately (praying, reading the Bible ect.). I said i have been lazy and i know you will help me, give me strength and wisdom to be able to overcome this, since laziness is something i always have struggled with. Something told me to erase social media on my phone and since i had nothing to do, i said “let me watch video”. And i came across this video. It’s incredible.

I've never watched your videos, in fact I rarely use KZbin. I was doing my homework which required me to watch a KZbin video, and when I was done I decided to just look at my feed, and lo and behold, this video. Truly from God. I have some medical and mental health issues that make me extremely tired and they are something I will deal with for the rest of my life. It's led me to laziness. Sometimes I have no desire to do anything, but seeing this video really changed my perspective on things. I'm asking God to protect me, and give me more time in life, but here I am not appreciating it by using it to my best ability... I truly needed this video, so thank you.

Getting ate up like this isn't fun, but God knows I need it LOL 😭 I've watched so many "stop being lazy!" videos that camp on building 15 different habits starting at 4am that I just can't keep up with especially in this day and age. But this was so convicting, because it's based in Word. Besides other valid reasons for not being able to do certain activities or wanting more time to do them, arrogance is a LOT of it. I arrogantly say "I'll start this Monday" as if that Monday is really promised. I'd then spend my time rotting in bed 😭 Another aspect I'd like to bring is, God also knows my heart! If He knows my schedule is packed a certain week, if He knows my stresses, He can also make a way for that Monday! He sustains, He is our daily bread, He will make a way fit if He so chooses. Even through my mental illness, He still loves me and wants the best for me and all of you. God bless xx 🤍

I think the old saying "idle hands are the devils workshop" is so spot on. The reason the devil can talk you into things when you are idle is because your mind isnt on anything. He can fully torment you and talk you into sin when your brain is "off". If you are lazy and just sit around all the time, your mind is off and you can also fall into depression that way. And lust can go back to laziness because if you are sitting there doing nothing with your phone in your hand, it is easy to turn to porn. This is a good message brother it has been on my mind lately too.

In regards to one of the comments you made - I’ve been thinking about laziness and its relation with lust recently. I’ve found that laziness/procrastination can lead to boredom, a wandering mind, consuming content that is not appropriate, etc. A lot of times this will lead to lust or any sexual sin. Thank you for the reminder to appreciate what God has gifted us.

Just a reminder for anyone that needs it: Being unproductive doesn't necessarily mean you're arrogant and lazy. There can be other factors getting in the way of your ability to get up and go - things that aren't automatically solved by just being grateful. Depression, ADHD, chronic illness, grief, etc. can get in the way. Personally what motivates me to overcome my inactivity is knowing God loves me intimately and is excited to see what I will do in my life - that it brings him joy to watch me and that it's wonderful to produce work while having it in mind that I get to share it with him and that he is pleased with it like a parent would be of their child's drawing on the fridge. Meaning, we don't need to earn his love through work, but he loves seeing what we do.

Thanks! Him saying that God is being kind by giving me another day got me stressed out lol. I have difficulty doing something if i know that me messing it up could upset or disappoint someone and i know God wont be disappointed in me for struggling but its still a lingering thought. :( have adhd and im autistic so sometimes i feel overwhelmed by what i have to do, confused on where to start or procrastinate because of other reasons. Thinking about my parents and God being happy im being productive is a really nice way for me to be more motivated and i want to achieve that goal ^^ It'll be hard sometimes but working bit by bit to be more productive and trying my best will get me somewhere i know it ❤

It puts perspective on where I want and need to be to align my life with the Gospel!! Not all of His word will have you feeling happy and uplifted, sometimes I feel guilty and called out, but that’s when I ask for forgiveness and repent!!! Much love for you on your path with Christ ❤

Parable of Talents helped me a lot, remember how confused i was with my path and randomly one day i was in the bus and a video came up about the parable. Sometimes i fear to do a step but knowing Holy Spirit put me on this road for a reason i feel greatful! Tomorrow is important day in my life, first day of internship which will last few weeks, if i succeed i will get the first job in my life and most importantly with my profession, pray for me 🙏🏻 Thanks for the video and the reminder about the talents we are given from the Holy Spirit, Amen.

I genuinely find it hard to watch some things that are longer forms of videos. I know sixteen minutes is not necessarily crazy long, but my flesh just wants to drive me away from it. I found that when you spoke about this topic or when this video began, it's almost as if my Spirit took over and helped me listen to it because I needed to. - It’s irrigate to think that you’re going to do things tomorrow. The better way is to think if it’s God will to do it - laziness and procrastination is a sin, because it’s assuming God will give you another time to do something. - Humble yourself, God has given you 12hrs a day to do what you need to do everyday. - Time is a gift, God doesn’t owe you anything. Use your time wisely, don’t waste the time that God has given you. - Be grateful for the time God has given you, this is the true way to get over laziness. - Be humiliated. You must not waste the gift of time that God has given you. - Gratitude and being humble is the true way to get over laziness.

i am brazilian and have been trying to seek God asking for wisdom and your video just popped up while i was trying to talk to him and as i was hearing you i just felt exposed. God is giving me so many chances to try again but i take everything for granted like i have all the eternity to do good and can do it later, but no, i have to change now give my life to him now and be grateful to the blessings hes giving me even tho im a sinner, this world is not mine its his and he gave me free will to choose and i choose him. Thank you for this message. 🙏🏼 It made me realize how evil TikTok, reels, shorts, and social media in general are because they feed off of our time and attention. When I had TikTok, I could easily spend 3-6 hours SCROLLING through pointless videos just trying to catch a dopamine fix. It was too easy to get stuck in, difficult to pull away from and I remember feeling frustrated and tired all day, unable to get anything productive done. I saved so much precious time deleting and deactivating most of my social accounts, I keep KZbin for videos like yours but that’s about it at this point. Thank you again for sharing this, I really needed to hear this word!

This is so real 😭 I struggle so much with the same thing and end up hating myself with a passion afterwards every time I go down one of these "revenge bedtime procrastination" spirals. And then it flows onto the next day where I'm tired, irritable and impatient because of my own bad choices. God help us overcome this affliction/addiction. 🙏🏼

This was exactly what I needed. I've been struggling with laziness for a while now, and I kept getting frustrated with myself for procrastinating. I prayed for God to help me to no avail, but I realise that God has already provided all I need to work hard. Everyday I wake up I remember that God has chosen me, like so many people died but God chose to wake me up today which means I have a God given purpose for each day. Thanks for the word, God bless

As Braxten’s former employer, he without a doubt practices what he preaches. Many times would he ask for extra hours and unlike many employees who would literally sit on their phone and expect to get paid, he worked incredibly hard without wavering even when things were stressful. fun fact about the ants: there are actually types of ants that collect fungi from plants, carry it back to their colonies, and grow the fungi in little 'farms' to use as food. I'm a bio major and I LOVE learning things like that because it convinces me more and more how beautifully our Creator designed the earth.

Am 15yrs old but connect with this a lot as most kids in our generation seek life in a screen with fame and money that just feeds our flesh not soul and I won't lie but I was over 5 hours glued to my laptop or phone and every night a voice would ask me what was something worthy I actually did today because I have spent my time on a phone; time I wont get back of just praising people in my phone when I should start with me so I thank you Braxten for reminding me there's someone bigger than I that I should really praise For the little things he has given me like life; health and a family

I think you can link laziness with lust; like the quote 'idle hands are the devil's playthings'. Personally, if I oversleep or am not doing anything productive, I can fall into lust out of boredom. So you are so right it is all linked.

ive found this video on God's timing - where I have been lazy and procrastinating the most. Ive always struggled with this my whole life. I am humble and grateful that God has allowed me another day. I don't want to be arrogant and deceived any longer.

Forgive me Lord for my pride, my arrogance over the talent and gifts you’ve given me, Lord help mature me so I can take care of my family, and build your kingdom and work heartily unto you so that people connect me work ethic to you God, in Jesus name , amen pray that for me y’all and pray for me battling procrastination for 6-7 + years but found God last year and have never felt more urgency in changing

Arrogance has such a harsh picture because we rarely hear that word - but the Bible definitely tells us how foundational pride is to all other sins (Lucifer in Isaiah 14, the pride of life in 1 John 2) Whoever wants to become great must become a servant. Just like Christ, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10) So good. I like the framing of this. Gratitude does help us find more energy.

Goatee slaps ngl 😂 but thank you for this episode. Actually today I was struggling and hating myself for being lazy and procrastinating practically everything. So when I saw this pop up on my for you I knew it was God, and this encouraged me. Because 1. I’m not alone in struggling with this and 2. I should celebrating and be thankful for the time on earth God has given me and take it and use it for its full purpose. So thank you very very much, and can’t wait for the next episode.

Thanks for the word Braxten! Another thing that the Holy Spirit reminded me of throughout the video was when David got lazy and didn't fight on the Battlefield, it led to the sin he committed with Bathsheba, which was lust. God bless!

Braxten...this is my first video of yours that I have seen. Wow! Did it hit home! God is using you in mighty ways. Continue to listen to His voice so He can use you. Im a 62 year old female who has had back issues for 6 years. It's so easy to be lazy when you are injured. I am thanking God that I found your channel...to remind me that I must remove pride in my life, not take any day for granted and know that He is in control. May God bless you abundantly! I wept when you prayed. Needed this reminder and that prayer. I felt a bit overwhelmed, transitioning rn but I see what God has called me to, can’t make excuses. So much love bro, this was straight from Jesus and really woke me back up! I rebuke laziness. So grateful for this video. I felt a burden lift off me but I’m gonna remember just to look at the steps the Lord is ordering and set goals everyday.

I am struggling like I never have before. I put myself in this position. But I have no friends. Only my family. Which I am so very grateful for. But I’m a lost soul. Without a single friend. Hey, I’m not gonna lie, this message just cleared my mind, like crazy. Listening to that, I was looking to my life and I was the type of person like when there is job to do, I was like : “ maybe after, not this time, I don’t feel like it” but your message just gave strength, humility and gratitude to say to myself : “ hey, God gave you time, use it wisely.” Thanks 🙏🏾 For real men.
