OMG I'm a black female, & you described social anxiety disorder EXACTLY. We both have the same symptoms. It's been so distressing dealing with this disorder, especially in the black community, which tends to want everyone (especially women) to conform & to be 'one way'. I'm seen as the biggest weirdo at work because I stand out for some reason & my actions are viewed as strange. Thanks for the videos. I will be checking out more of yours.

Get over that quick it will affect your career. I am still suffering from it because I never made an attempt to overcome it. I now am in a job in which I stay in my cubicle. When I go to the bathroom I find a bathroom that no one in my dept goes to (upstairs). I have never been to a dance club. Never went to my high school prom. It's debilitating (sp). Definitely try to get over it at your young age.

Hey man, your story really parallels to mine a great deal it's suprising. My anxiety started around seventh grade as that was the year I had first moved to a new place too and I also got made fun alot in that grade, horrible horrible year that was. Also I moved from Texas to Maryland, with a little 2 year stop inbetween in California, so same here with the moving around. Anyways, it's great to see you doing videos!

People used to tell me I sounded like I came from up North even though I've lived in Mississippi my entire life. But I don't think they meant it in an insulting fashion though. But you're the first person on here in the SA community who is also from Mississippi that I know about. I don't suppose you live in or near the Delta?
