I have OC 2, almost completed the campaign. In May, I heard of some "upgrade plan" where I could buy AYCE with 75% off (I have PS4)! Will I? Probably.

Nice! It's great because even after you've finished it you still feel like you want to go back and improve your scores. Also there's an absolute ton of DLC to keep you busy after the campaign too. I heard about that too, that's a pretty good idea! They probably should have done that to begin with rather than only selling it as a standalone game!

I haven't actually tried out the cross platform features because I tend to just stick to couch co-op! From the little experience I do have with the online it played absolutely perfectly but I'm not 100% sure if I was playing with people on other systems or not. Also, I've just noticed how late my reply is to this comment... Sorry about that!

I liked the "old style" in OC1 more than the "new style."

I know what you mean! The old style almost looked a bit more cartoony in a way, like it was a bit more minimal. I still love the new graphics too though!

How do you get it to ps5? Can you buy the ps4 disc version and play it on ps5 as ps5 version

There's a PS4 and PS5 disc version of Overcooked: All You Can Eat. If you have the PS4 version on disc it isn't identical to the PS5 version due to not running in 4K, but it's almost exactly the same apart from that. You can play the PS4 version through the PS5 though because of the backwards compatibility. Basically if you own it on PS4, it will work through the PS5 and be virtually identical to the actual PS5 version. However, the digital version gives you access to both the PS4 and PS5 versions! Sorry for the long winded answer, but I hope that helps!

I’m pretty sure that it is yeah. It basically means that in order for both players to get every trophy you’d need to play it twice. It might have been updated more recently though so I’m not 100% sure.

You can play it with one console, there's no need to buy another one!. It's got full couch co-op and multiplayer across every mode 😀 Also, good luck with it! It's easily one of the best co-op games out there and it's so funny when you end up getting mad at each other over the stupidest things!

The biggest selling points of All You Can Eat are that you can now play the main mode via online multiplayer, so if you have friends who can’t visit you in person you can still play with them (although, obviously this would require you both to own copies of the game) and that it includes all of the DLC for both games which basically doubles the content available in the base versions of the original. If neither of those things appeal to you, I would wait for a price drop before picking this up. Unless you’re a massive fan of the series and just wanted to get it to play through them again for the sake of it! Also, no there’s no free next gen update for owners of the original versions unfortunately 😞

Very nice review, I don't like the fact that they added an online multiplayer mode to OC1 through AYCE, and did not implement that in the original game basically asking for more money to have MP functionality, kinda leaves bad taste in my mouth for the devs.

I own both overcooked and overcooked 2 CD version and recently downloaded Season Pass online on my PS5, it shows installed status but when I try to play it gives an error that content isn’t found. Any help?

Hmm, that is strange. So you own the disc version of Overcooked 2 and you downloaded the Overcooked 2 season pass and when you launch the game it isn’t showing any of the DLC content on the main menu? If that’s the case then maybe try completely uninstalling Overcooked 2 and the season pass content and try reinstalling it from scratch. If you still run into issues, contact Team 17 (the game’s publisher) directly on Twitter. They can be found at Team17Help on there. You can also submit a question to them by going to team17.com/support/ I hope that helps!
