I've always wondered about this, thanks! Do you have sources on this I can also review or is this more through observation?

Thank you! It was based primarily on my own testing, which can be easily replicated within other duties and with other gear if you so choose. Other sources, such as the bot commands in The Balance, will recommend sync-down thresholds for certain duties but generally won't go into much detail as to why that threshold.
