Today we have an absolutely interesting and unique job that I really enjoyed. This homeowner purchased this home in the winter and they were told they have a "seasonal stream" on their property. Once the rains began the "stream" felt a lot more like a lake and thats what it was starting to look like as well.
The streams original course was along a retaining wall that had also been covered up by the blackberries. With years of neglect the previous owners left the area in poor condition resulting in issues for the new homeowner. Thankfully the issue was a lot simpler than what we were expecting.
We grabbed our Stihl FS-240 and got to work brush cutting the blackberries and mulching them up. As we mulched the blackberries I would clean up a finished section so that the water could start flowing asap relieving the area. As a result we fixed the entire drainage issue and we had a very thrilled homeowner!
