Gotta love the English. Actually trying to restore the gardens, taking out roots, bordering, etc. Our American similar shows while equally admirable typically just cut everything down.

Nice job, chaps. I love your smart combination of motor tools and hand tools. So many "gardeners" would have been "bish bash bosh", ploughed into that border clearance with just the brush cutter and blower, leaving all the roots behind to grow back even thicker in the long run, not even noticing that pieris either... You guys do a thorough job plus nice tidy edges. You certainly increased the resale value of that property, that's for sure! Very funny at the beginning comparing your different approaches to attacking the brambles!

Love watching you guys moving to a new home due to brain tumours and an anyurysm watched from the hospital after a recent crainiotomy . My new garden will be so crazy but the time we get to move in. Big trees growing through fences and breaking fence pannels from the garden either side . It amazes me how you find the shrubs and clear only the weeds. Great work lads/

I think it's crazy in the week that you're gone nobody bothered to do anything. Why do they own a home with property if they're not going to take care of it? I guess it's a good reason why they're selling. And if it's an elderly couple do they not have family that could come over and help? I mowed many lawns while aging ants and uncles couldn't do it anymore.
