I guess the one concellation about the extreme difficulty of accessing the river through the thick vegetation is that at least you will have the river to yourself, unlike canals post covid19, where it's like getting caught up in the Tour de France as the world and his wife seems to have purchased a bike and headed down there

Where is it mate? In Clifton? I have been between Ramsbottom and Bury last week completely nothing, like dead water! Has the river been polluted again??
