It is just something I have to adjust so that I am not so conscious of it but I have discovered that some hot days just can't be helped as I need to wear a top that lets the air flow, lol xxx

LOVED this video! It is filled with so much useful, solid, practical advice. I could relate to soooooo much of what you said in the video….I have NEVER enjoyed wearing a belt….never felt comfortable but always felt like my outfit couldn’t possibly be considered complete without one. Another item that fashion, and particularly capsule wardrobe requirements insist on, is “the classic white shirt”….guess what? Don’t like it, don’t look good in it, NEVER found one that suited me -- I got to be 60- something and gave myself permission to not own one and, more importantly, to not beat myself up about it! I would love to hear updates about your wardrobe additions, what you find to fill in your gaps, particularly the lighter handbag category (exactly where I am at !) so I would definitely find that helpful!❤

I love that I am not alone!! I struggle with the button up too. I can only wear them loose and causal. I have found I like linen over cotton as the cotton tend to look stuffy on me. I suit a more fluid fabric for a shirt rather than a stiff cotton. I definitely cannot tuck a cotton shirt in as it looks very stiff and adds volume to my figure.

When I get Apple-y,😂 I wear tunics that are more fitted at top and flare below ribs- with straight leg or boot cut bottoms.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer also back in 2018. In remission. I just had a full hysterectomy in jan 2023. I feel you about weight i am tge heaviest i have ever been also. How are you losing the weight.

To be honest I lost the treatment weight gradually just with walking (as I wasn't up for much else) and trying my best to watch what I eat, however I am sitting around 80kgs with is still too heavy for my height of 5'2" and I need to lose at least another 10kgs and this is proving to be very difficult indeed. I have just started trying an exercise programme of strength training and after the first few sessions (using an app as it was cheaper) my body is in all sorts of angst. I will take it slowly and try to build up my strength and try to overcome the discomfort and pain and hopefully will get stronger every week. I struggle tremendously with diet - always have. I am 70% diligent but need more focus. Once I get focused its great but man its hard work getting in the right mind set.

Prior to surgery I was adamant I wanted reconstruction but after all my treatment I couldn't bear to put myself through any more trauma. With so many complications and surgeries that could be involved I have decided against it. Did you?
