Overhead athlete training: get those ribs and spine side bending!

I really like my over head athletes to over reach so that they get bend in their spine and ribs. It's really important to have the ribs side bend as they provide further support to the shoulder as it reaches to its highest point. This side bend helps to prevent pinching and pain in the top portion of the shoulder, and leaves you freer to reach to higher heights.
