Nice setup! I did something similar to my Kubota B2620 and Z421-love those LEDs! Wished I had those +20 years ago while farming-I’d have my combine lit up all round-might have helped me not hit as many things as I did back then!

I love that you mention lighting up a combine. I just bought a JD 40 combine (built 1965) and plan on adding LEDs all over, along with a CAB. This is taking me a while, I plan on doing a video about it eventually.

I have a bx2380 and it has a bundle of 3 wires taped up with blue tape to the left of the top 3 point link. It's for the factory ROPS lighting I've been told. Just checked and it has a ground wire, an always hot wire and an ignition on power lead. Would have thought the ignition lead would only come on with headlights but nope. So going to use these to wire my lights up. I'm going to assume the S model has it as well. They want to sell their factory halogen ROPS lights to everyone lol

did you take the guide lever cover off tractor -the plastic /glove box or just work from the top? i tried to remove it....fail....i then tried to pry out accessory outlet-good grief...fail...thanks for any info

I actually worked mostly from the bottom. I did not take anything off, except for the 12VDC adaptor. From the top I slid in the switch, which had enough wire to enable me to solder to the old 12VDC adaptor harness underneath. I then zip tied the whole thing together and tucked it between the tank and the plastic cover. Be sure to use heat shrink if you do it that way. Hope that helps!

I'd also make sure the wiring in the hub area is water proof. Water and mud will get into anywhere it wants to if not well protected.

Best I can do is heat shrink and electrical tape ;) (imagine pawn-stars meme template)

Were there any specific reasons why you chose those lengths and wattages of LEDs over the others nilight carries?
@IllInformedHuman3 жыл бұрын
I didn't focus on brightness, I focused on power consumption. I bought the brightest lights I could that were under the wattage rating of that 12VDC plug I removed. I chose two small lights in the back so that they could be tilted and reduce shadows when using the backhoe. In the front I wanted a longer bar for a wider "illumination angle".

Where do you get those lights? On line? Or your Laval store? Thanks mate... Great job by the way.

I got them online. The brand is Nilight.
