Overkill is not as well known as the big thrash bands like Metallica, Megadeth or Anthrax, but they are important pioneers of the genre. I believe they were formed before any of those bands I mentioned. East coast band out of New Jersey.

Not a genre I normally gravitate to, meaning thrash metal. Sometimes I think that it all sounds the same because of the screeching guitars, vocals and heavy fast paced drums. I understand why this genre has a great and loyal fan base though because the musicianship is first rate and it gets you moving. This band has been around for 20 albums, I looked that up, so they obviously are doing something right. Love the variety of music on the channel boss. ✌️

I like anthrax but i think overkill should have been in the big four
