Overland And Cooking With Firebox Stoves

Two guys, two rigs, two firebox stoves. We cooked three meals on our overnight overland using two firebox stoves.

A wood fire without clearing the ground around it by a couple of feet? You must leave a larger margin of safety. Look at those sparks!!!!!! Expect a ticket by rangers. By the way, fighting wildfires in the Los Padres is really hard. Fixing the trails afterward is even harder. I was a volunteer trail lead there for the FS.
