I would highly recommend a Frieling French Press. They are not cheap but IMO the best on the market. I have had two, one for home use and one for camping for over 10 years and they are 100% stainless steel, even the strainer mesh is stainless.

When my sons was little I have a foot locker that was are camping Kitchen I would keep all of our camping stuff in a corner of the bathroom. I have it ready to go before I told the boys I was a single mother of 3 sons 2 years apart because each of them I would not tell them that we were going camping until 15 minutes before and then told them they had 15 minutes to have everything in the car or we would not go. Only 1 time did we stay home and not going camping. Keep everything in one place and having a camping box that I would refill as soon as I could. The boys just got to take a backpack with them. Tent, beding kitchen and as much as possible stayed repacked

I saw one thing missing - a wind screen for your stove. Four aluminum panels, 3 hinges, sized to tuck into your existing tote around the inside perimeter for zero addition space used. Even a light breeze robs your stove of heat. You'll get faster cook times and burn way less fuel.

I'm not a fan having have multiples of silver ware and dishes. First, I am a solo camper/bushcrafter. I don't have anyone to go out there with. So for me, I have one of each item. I rarely ever have food that I need a knife for, but if I were going to have such food, I'd bring one of those. Most food I eat, I can just use my big spoon (table spoon), but I will bring a fork just incase. I do have one of them pocket knives that's actually a spoon, fork, knife and bottle opener. That's where my fork used is. One plate or bowl. I prefer using a bowl for almost everything, but if space is an issue in a pack for hiking/camping/bushcraft, I'll have a plate or make one if I'm somewhere allowed to use wood from the forest. I have one or two metal cups. Always my smaller cup which is slightly more space than a standard house mug. I have a large cup which is actually a coffee press cup. I did stop using the press and used it as just a cup, then I stopped using the cup eventually. I may use it from time to time as the coffee press. So, I do limit utensils and dishes and I am good about washing them when I'm done, even at home, I only use one of each, except mugs... One mug for coffee, one for small amount of soup (I have a water dispenser for hot water), and a huge mug if I'm ever to have a big meal that I want to use the mug for instead of my 1L camp pot. I am the only one in this house whom has one of each for me that I clean after use. The others leave dirty dishes lying around in sink or on counter. It piles up a bit, then eventually my Ma puts them in dish washer. I hate that! There are cats here and they will go on the counter looking for food sometimes.

Awesome tips. What a great setup and mentioning the fire extinguisher was a great tip. I will have to add one to my kit. I also just ordered a water pump...what a great device. I have never been a fan of sponges because they harbor bacteria and smell. However, the Scrub Daddy is the greatest thing since the zipper. Works great for tough to remove cooked on food, or dried food on plates. Being it has large open cells it rinses really well and lasts forever. Another nice device I recently saw featured on a KZbin video was the FLEXTAILGEAR MAX SHOWER Ultralight Rechargeable Outdoor Shower Pump. A bit pricey at $56 but it seems awesome. Just drop it in a bucket of water and it has a hose and wand. The stream it puts out is amazing. It is rechargeable as well. I would like to have one just for rinsing dishes, or spraying down dirty items. You could in fact take a shower with it if you so desired. Thank you for sharing such great gear and tips. I subbed.

I would like to get the Coleman camp oven box, but it cost too much for me on Amazon, the only online shopping site I use. I don't know if there's a store here that sells it in the store. I'll be keeping an eye out. I wouldn't take it if I have to hike in with it to a camp site. If the car is at the site, no problem. I'd use it at home on my camp stove or the campfire pit on our lawn.

You have a well organized kitchen gear box. It's amazing what one will cook with and eat out of when camping. I bought most of my kitchen gear at our local Goodwill stores. My dining bowls are large collapsible new dog bowls. For spaghetti pasta I bought one of the Sea to Summit collapsible pots...great space saver. My knives and utensils go into a heavy duty tool roll found at Lowe's. I love the oven you have and I love baking foods, e.g., potatoes, breakfast rolls, donuts, stuffed mushrooms. I've been using a cast iron crock pot but that thing is heavy and not easily packed away. The benefit of watching videos like yours is learning how others organize and applying the knowledge to my kit. I've been car camping for over 50 years but I love picking up tips on fine tuning my own gear. Thank you!

One very good thing to have is a large box of baking soda. It can be used to put out kitchen fires, even on the stove or food. You can redeem the food by simply rinsing it off. It is good to wash dishes, deodorize containers and clothes, even for brushing your teeth. I clean my skillets and griddle with it and water, no soap. It rinses clean. It just takes a very small amount to get the job done. Happy Trails!

Instead of bying expensive vaccum-insulated bowls you can use two or three of the cheep, thin stainless-steel ones at once. That will give you adequate insulation when needed. Bonus is you have extra bowls on hand, that can be handy when processing food. And they stack better and take less room than the insuated ones you showed in the video.

Nice set up for car/family camping. Canoe camping all I use a Rubbermaid Action Packer with a single burner ( gas) cook set and all the food. The Action Packer even doubles as the riverside table and cooking area. For backpacking my Evernew Appalachian Set ( alcohol/wood ) weighs 5.6 ounces and the Evernew titanium non stick frying pan is 4.9 ounces. It fits in my backpack with the food that's repacked in Zip lock Freezer bags. As far as drinking water out of a cup that had Coffee in it , that's how I wash my cup without wasting a single drop of water.

I would also recommend looking into a fire blanket to go with the extinguisher. They are very quick and easy to deploy, extremely effective, they don't make the big mess that an extinguisher does, they're reusable, and they take up practically no room when packed. You can put out a cooking fire with the blanket and still save your food. Which isn't going to happen with an extinguisher. I bring a 3x3 fire blanket as my first go to for 99% of fire situations, then the extinguisher as my backup in case things really start to get real. If you've never looked into fire blankets you should really check them out, they are pretty great.
