Skylight cave is a lava tube that was leftover from when lava was flowing underground. The tube hardens and lava flows in it. When the lava finishes and drains out, a tube is left. There are a few others on Oregon as well as in Hawaii. #geologynerd

This is exactly how me and my wife go on our Overlanding trips. yes it is great to be away from all the people, but some of the most spectacular thing we have seen has been right off the freeway amongst the crowds.

Tumalo Falls is 2.5 miles west of our cabin. Way too many people visit it each day during the summer even mid week. In winter is is a nice walk/cross country ski trip but again if snow conditions are good too many people. Living in Central Oregon I tend to head East into the high desert. Currently planning a trip to Owyhee Country. A person can spend a week with out seeing another person unless a local rancher is moving cattle or mending fence.

I do love heading to that area too. I've only been once but I loved how remote it was

Great videos, your Rubicon is looking good. Painting the fenders to match really gives is a true custom look. What fenders are you running? I see you have knuckle pod lights and brackets, what brand are the brackets and lights? Anyhow we are enjoying your off-roading adventures, thanks. Oh yeah the graphics look good too where did you get those?
@Outofthewoods_Adventures17 күн бұрын
Hey thank you so much!! I just installed the fenders last winter and love them!! They are from kbd body kits, great price point and function well! The light mounts are from gate keeper offroad. And the decal I'm not sure. It was a random shop on Etsy

awesome camp spots. I live in bend but have not been to any of these let alone did I know they even existed! I was wondering if you have the coordinates or directions on how to get to thesis spots?
@Outofthewoods_Adventures17 күн бұрын
I won't share the coordinates because honestly they took me hours of research and more importantly I don't these places to end up getting overrun and ruined. But also putting in the time exploring is half thy fun!

Great video but a few mistakes done at the beginning, you are facing a cliff and she didnt even know that the vehicle was gonna go forward, I think is better to park sideways just in case something goes wrong........

I appreciate the feedback, good thing was she had quite a bit to go before actually getting to the cliff.

Can I ask what front and rear fenders you have? Also can they bear weight, like stand on?
@Outofthewoods_Adventures2 ай бұрын
They are from kbd body kits, but no they don't support weight at all but I love them because of that flex. I'm really not worried about breaking them or anything pushing against rocks or trees

What are you doing with an open flame in that dry brush? Next time, stay in WA.
@Outofthewoods_Adventures3 ай бұрын
It was a propane fire pit, so no embers and totally safe. I also dug out around the whole fire pit a few feet away to make sure there were no grasses around. So maybe watch a little closer before you decide to leave a rude comment. 👍
