It is HO. I think N scale could be done as well. Those carbody units usually present more working space.

It is a standard ESU V4.0 with a custom built sound file to mimic a cab car.

The “customized” sound file for F59PHi is good, but the sound file for cab car sounds fake. If you are familiar with sounds of electric locomotives, it really detracts from cab car. I can hear pantograph lifting and hitting areal wire. Better if you used a Soundtraxx sound car or if eliminated the start up sound of sound slot of “prime mover” via Lokprogrammer. I’ve done this before. The sound coming out from cab car sounds drowning. That is usually because there is not enough opening from the body of cab car or/and not rigid or lack of speaker enclosure. Cab car sound file and sound can be improved much more.

While I do understand your point, I think this file came out nicely. the only part that really doesn't fit is the pantograph lifting and hitting. Besides that, it adds a nice bit of humming to the tail end of the train. I have used the Soundtraxx Soundcar in the past but it does not allow for the level of customization that I needed out of this project. the "drowning" sounds are simply the video. Nothing translates perfect from in-person to video . I also did not use my good mics to record. Both units sounded great in person and the customer was thrilled with them. At the end of the day, That is what matters most.

Those f59phi don't have Cummins engines in them..those engines are made by EMD and was bought by catipiller and have cats engines in them..
