Where did you connect the positive and negative leads of the Victron Smart Battery Charger? From the house battery to the Safety Hub 150? Did you put an inline fuse on the Victron?

What size cabling are you running to your blue seas fuse block?

It’s 8 gauge from the main battery back to not have line loss

could you not use the redarc manager 30 in place of that all? im thinking of getting one and it looks like it does all three. solar, battery and shore

Why not just use the victron DC to DC instead of the redarc? That way all the pieces talk and can be monitored in one app? The price difference is actually cheaper for the victron by a few hundred.

I wouldn’t trust Victor to repel Chinese knock offs, let alone water. I’ve had a few Victron parts fail, but never had a Redarc Part fail. You get what you pay for

It depends on manufacturer if the 7pin will charge trailer. Ford 250 just requires a under hood fuse change

B-Rad D R it’s not the fuse size it’s the cable size. The 7 pin harnesses don’t have a large enough gauge wire.
